Yes, 2 years total waiting time for the actual GC but at least we get to spend the last year of waiting IN the US. :dance:

This has to pass the Senate and get the President's approval as well. The Democrats (who control the Senate) have indicated that they would not consider this bill since they are in favor or a more comprehensive reform. There is a very slight chance that it may even be brought up on the floor in the Senate. Please temper your expectations accordingly.

is not yet approved by the Senate and by the President and are apparently not very agree with this, hopefully think of families separated and approval. God time anything can happen. blessings

please can you clarify what this bill means? do you say that there is a big chance it wont approve and how long will it take to get the final decision?

09/09/2009 met and had been happily dating for almost a year when my husband (bf at that time) won in a green card lottery. By that time he divorced from his ex-wife, and I graduated from the university and had obligatory job placement in Belarus for 2 years on.
11/19/2010 got married. In about a month he left for the US and applied for family reunification.
