I think VSC are swamped they have been forced to transfer cases to Nebraska SC. Let's hope this will reflects in faster processing for those who did not get approved yet! I haven't seen any 2013 approval from VSC so far!

I called USCIS and they said my case is still with VSC and has not been transferred. They also said that USCIS will normally send notification when they transfer cases.

Feb 06 2013:I-130 PD (Case transferred to Nebraska on Aug 20 2013)

Sep 27, 2013: I-130 approved.

July 31 2013: I-485, I-765 and I-131 sent

Aug 01 2013: USCIS received AOS package

Aug 06 2013: NOA 1 received for AOS

Aug 16 2013: FP notice received

Aug 29 2013: FP done

Sep 09 2013: Status changed to Testing & Interview

Sep 16 2013: Email notification for Interview (scheduled on Oct 17 2013)

Oct 17 2013 Case Approved

Oct 22 2013 CPO email received

Oct 25 2013 Card mailed
Oct 28 2013 Card received

Hi,

I am currently an LPR and in the process of processing my N400 (becoming USC).

To my surprise, I just got an email that my wife's I-130 (submitted Feb 2013) just got approved by CSC.

Her priority date is Feb 15th, 2013.

Obviously, now, we are waiting for her case to be transferred to NVC and for them to issue case number, etc.

I saw some prediction that the October visa bulletin may retrogress again.

What I am not clear about is how the October visa bulletin will impact us.

Once her case is accepted by NVC (hopefully by the end of August) and October visa bulletin is retrogress, how does it impact her case?

Does it mean that her case will stuck on NVC until the visa is available again?

Does it matter whether her priority date is current or not once NVC enters her case on their system?

It is likely that her case will get stuck, I am just not sure at which point of NVC stages/Embassy interview stage that her case will get stuck.

Yeah i know, we will be current on october if the prediction will come true, now, we have to complete our case first! I hope nvc will increase their pace in giving case numbers and reviewing docus.

Any 2013 approvals from VSC?

Whilst VSC as of ay 31st processing time seems to be much better than CSC, check this tracker of approved 130 petitions filed with CSC most of them with 2013 PD!!! Why is VSC so behind???
