Skype Logs - way too much to print out

Hi VJ family,

We are getting prepared for our interview in about 3 weeks. For proof of an ongoing relationship, we have thousands of lines of Skype messages (over 100,000 messages back and forth)...and that is AFTER we have scrubbed the "private" stuff out. Obviously, this is too much to print out. What have you all done to condense your chat logs into a user-friendly version of your proof of relationship? Would love to hear your ideas.

We just printed out a couple conversations from ym messenger, but also made sure to include our very first messages. I don't think they're going to read all of it anyways. Worked for us! Good luck!!

Just print out select pages....which will help show the evolution of your relationship. Also note that two people that are intending to marry should have some amount of "private" stuff included.....not the X-rated stuff, but something that will show that you two are intimate and plan to marry.

Just get a couple of screenshots for each month. They would not read them.

Good luck!

Just print out 20 pages or so that show the 'range' of the dates the best. And just FYI, they are nearly certainly not even going to ask for them. Of all the people I know here, not one of us has our chat logs or phone records checked. They asked for Photos and my tax returns, and that was all in our case.

But still, you have to have them, just in case.

My fiance is printing out a few pages from each month. I know what you mean, when I submitted our I-129F application, I included only a couple of months chat logs and it was over a hundred pages, it adds up real quick.

Good luck to you guys

I Looooooove my baby Lyn.

I agree!! The X rated should be excluded but the love love stuff like kisses and the mushy I miss you & I love you and general conversations about how your day is...that's all important to show that you are a part of each of regardless of the distance.

Agreed again...monthly communications prove that you keep in touch & that you have continued to!

We all tend to over-prepare for proof of relationship/communication. I had (like so many others here) a 3" binder of Yahoo! FB, Skype and email compilation. During my interview, I was asked by the pre-screener person if I have any proof of on going communication, I said, YES! The screener just nodded her head. The American Consul didn't even ask me during my interview. So, yeah, don't bring too much. Good luck. Remember, the interview is just for FORMALITY's sake.

We only printed out several days of conversation a week, maybe 3 days a week every week. It did not matter because the interviewer did not ask to see any of it.....We got approved that day! Hope this helps...

use a printer driver that makes 4 pages per printed page.

We never included them because it says there in the USCIS that chat logs are not included as proof..

USCIS doesn't adjudicate Immigrant Visas .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
