right! they are lazy and they dont feel what we feel right now being away from our spouses! PLEASE USCIS IF YOU HAVE FAMILY THEN SYMPATHIZE US AND DO IT FAST!

I agree Teague...at the same time, I believe that just like every place of business...you have slow ppl that just take their time and find things to do other than staying focused on their responsibilities. Then, you have dedicated workers that run circles around these ppl. What I would like to add as a light at the end of the long tunnel is something I read several weeks ago from a former USCIS agent. That is that everything they do is monitored and that includes their productivity. So, the non-dedicated workers will be weeded out. Our case is at the Vermont office and I reviewed the # of cases they rcvd during the time that they rcvd our. They really got there butts kicked! Recently, they were 3 months behind processing and now they are about 1 month behind because they are getting help from other offices so they can get caught up. Hope this helps to shed some light. :)

However, we are tortured with these long wait times and that's the bottom line! One hour feels like a whole day!

All we can do it hang in there. It seems that these inquiry tools that they 'provide' us are just a pasifier and offer no real solutions. :(

I hired a lawyer to go over all that I was sending in to immigration, in order to catch anything left unturned, forgotten signatures, additional proof needed.

I would assume that if you had filed in the past for a k-1 visa that they would have found

any flags at that time. Try not to panic at this point , easier said than done!

I also read from a website that they are randomly picking applications to do more extensive reviews on since 2011 at USCIS level for I-130's , so this may be beneficial to you on the other end!

my husband and i never used any attorney. The attorneys really cant do anything that i cant do on my own. I did all the dotting and crossing. We thought it was better to keep things as simple as possible.

Hi abdelnish83.... did you and your fiance go through an attorney to ensure that all the t's are crossed and the i's are dotted? I'm just curious if something like this happens when you have an attorney to ensure that everything runs smooth...wondering if this happens regardless...

There is no guaranteed way to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Assuring the paperwork is done correctly and all the required documents are submitted is the best you can expect or either yourself or a professional.

This was the website that I read also, it was very informative about what takes place in the process. Now, imagine how many people that they have to process a day! Whew!
