Hey how are you? You're not alone. My country doesn't celebrate thanksgiving too. And at the dinner table, everyone asked me how the turkey was for me. I said I loved it. It's yummy. :D And yay you'll finally get your SSN card. :)

  • xx-xx-2005 - Met in an online creative writing forum for anime (Yes, we are nerds. Awesome ones, at that.) Became friends ever since and chatted mostly on YM. Our characters' names were Kumi and Drake.
  • 11-20-2011 - We became a couple.
  • 05-16-2012 to 05-25-2012 - First visit
  • 11-08-2012 - NOA1
  • 12-11-2012 to 12-18-2012 - Second visit
  • 05-08-2013 - NOA2
  • 06-13-2013 to 06-14-2013 - Two-day medical exam; passed!
  • 07-19-2013 - He visits again to be with me for the interview
  • 07-22-2013 - Interview date / APPROVED!

Your country doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving??? I thought you did, cuz my good friends in the phillipines said that they celebrate it. Maybe some Filipinos celebrate and some don't? Hehe.

yeah, I finally got SSN. But need to wait until the card come so I can put the SSN on the AOS form. how's your AOS?

We don't have a Thanksgiving Holiday though. Maybe the ones who did were actually brought up in an Filipino-American family. So yeah maybe you're right. Some do, some don't. We celebrate fiestas though. :D Since applying for it and after the biometrics appointment, I haven't received any other update. It's still on Initial Review. I'm hoping they update me sometime this week or next.
