My fiance and I are going to travel to USA on September 29 (arrive in USA on September 30)

How about you?

I will travel alone on Sept 4. I got my VIsa July 26 and decided to travel after 1month because I want to spend more time with my family. I will miss them and friends too :)

You guys, we have plane tickets!!!!! POE Miami on 09/05 :) She and the little dude will spend a week with her bestie and then I will fly down to spend a weekend in Miami, then we will all come back together to WA. Woo hoooooo. Almost there.

Congrats, pachacuti! We also have tickets, Sept 13 arrival in San Diego (I live just outside the city). We think everything's sorted -- moving is a hassle and we did hire a shipping company, so they'll be packing up his stuff on Sept 10 and cleaning his apartment. Still have to figure out closing or re-addressing his bank account and cell phone, but other than that, we're all set!

FOUR WEEKS and we're finally together for good!!!

We're looking at a mid-to-late October courthouse wedding. When I called yesterday, they said that October was already filling up so I had better book it soon ... so probably early next week we'll set the actual date. :)

K-1 Visa: I-129F filed November 6, 2012, NOA2 May 17, 2013, Interview and Approval July 24, 2013

POE San Diego, September 13, 2013, Wedding October 25, 2013

AOS filed November 19, 2013, EAD/AP received January 30, 2014, interview and AOS Approval on February 27, 2014.

ROC filed December 3, 2015, NOA1 12/4/15, Biometrics 12/31/15, ROC Approval on June 16, 2016, 10-Year Green Card received June 22, 2016.

N400 filed September 14, 2023, same day acceptance and Biometric Reuse notice, Interview on 2/13/24: Passed and same day oath. ALL DONE WITH USCIS.

I'm so happy all of us will be together soon with our fiancé/fiancée for good :D

My fiancé will come and get me, he'll be here on Sept 18 and we'll fly to US on Sept 29.

I'm not sure about my POE though. It will be: Jakarta-Tokyo-Dallas-Indianapolis

I'm still figure it out will it be Dallas or Indianapolis.

I also don't ship anything to US. I'll bring only my clothes shoes and bags, don't care about the cd's dvds or books I have at home, I'll leave it so people at home will still feel that I'm home ;)

I'm ready to move and have my new life with the man I love!

Your POE will be Dallas. You will have to clear both immigration and customs before rechecking your bags for the flight to Indianapolis. Make sure your layover in Dallas isn't too short as it can take a bit of time to get through it all.

My finacee's interview is Thursday and it is fast approaching and each day I get more and more excited. She's ready for the interview, happy and nervous at the same time.

Aug 2, 2011 - Met online via a mutual friend.
Dec 2, 2011 - Vivian traveled to USA to attend a medical conference and had our first date. On Dec 10, 2011 - Vivian returned home.
May 15,2012 - Vivian traveled to USA to spend a month with me. smile.png
Sep 15,2012 - Met Vivian in Frankfurt Germany and on to Prague Czech Republic to celebrate our birthdays.
Sep 24, 2012 - Left Viena Austria. The last time I was with Vivian.
Nov 11, 2012 - Mailed in I-129F
Nov 19, 2012 - NOA1 recieved

June 13, 2013 - NOA2 approved.

June 17, 2013 - NOA2 hard copy received.

June 25, 2013 - Consulate received
July 7, 2013 - Packet 3 received

July 13, 2013 - Packet 3 sent

July 28, 2013 - Packet 4 received

Wedding booked! October 25 at the county clerk, most of my family will be attending (around 11 guests). We hope that's enough time to get the pre-nup signed, but it should be fine since we already have it ready to go, just needs official review and signing.

I'm so untraditional that I'll probably just wear a black skirt for the wedding (I never even wear skirts normally, and 100% never white!). And a small dinner at a restaurant afterwards -- that's MORE than enough for both of us and we're very happy with our arrangements! :)

stuart's been here since august 9th and he's been settling in. we've done some shopping and gotten him a phone and laptop which help him pass the days while i'm away at work! today we picked up our marriage license and also applied for his social security number. the wedding is august 31! can't believe its almost here. what a long journey it's been.
