I'm having problems tracking packages from NVC. Can someone tell me how to do it. I've used EXP 24 JUN 2013A and nothing and I even tried dates for last week I get no results.

Disregard the above posting. I used 20 Jun and see the package departed from Cincinnati DHL hub this morning.

Today, I actually didn't mean to get busy with the DS-156, DS-156K and DS-230 before I'm done with the medical on Friday, and I was planning to help my friend to do her work on this coming weekend, but I didn't know why my hands grabbed the laptop and started to check email the embassy sent me on last June 17th, in a sudden my fingers started to dance on the buttons, tapped differents letters and voila..!!! those forms are filled oops8rh.gif LOLOLOLOL... Praise God for that!

I didn't want to wait longer so I printed it all and those forms are save now in the clear book dancin5hr.gif

I started to think if what I filled is correct and a bit worried that it might be wrong. Hope the embassy people will not say "you need to fill new forms with a correct way" content.gif

Finally we got approved! Just got the alert a few minues ago. Bad news is,we're dealing with a bad "sorta" break up for two weeks now (because of all this waiting). Mixed emotions at the moment. I wanna celebrate but I'm still hanging at the moment. smile.png I haven't told him yet, I don't know if he knows we're approved. I don't know if he'll call. This just sucks.

Hey everyone, so this is the medical story of mine:

My appointment was at 2pm but I arrived at the clinic at 1pm, and without waiting for 2pm they asked me to start the registered thingy.

They asked me my passport, one photo, and the email from the embassy. They took my passport and photo but they didn't even looked at the email from the embassy.

Then, one lady asked me to fill in the information about me and my case number (I found out later that the papers I filled in then will be the DS-3025/5023), she didn't explain what is the purpose of that papers. I still didn't want to ask about the DS-3025 form until I have my vaccines.

After filled in the papers, they checked my height/weight, eyes, and they sent me to the doctor. A friendly doctor checked my chest and tummy, he didn't touch my sensitive parts of body and he explained about the vaccines I need to take. I spent only around 5 minutes with him and he sent me to a guy who took my blood (two small bottles), to a nurse who helped me with the X-Ray, and to a nurse who will then gave me three shots of vaccines. There are two more vaccines that I need to take because they didn't have it today. Everything went well, so I asked the nurse about the DS-3025 form and she thought that I was asking for a certified letter about the vaccinate, she gave me the certified letter and I took it but I told her that this is not I want, so she asked me to ask the first lady who asked me to fill in the papers, so I asked the lady, she was friendly at first but then when I asked about the form her face turned so scarry, she was like didn't want to tell me about the form thing. I asked her that I need the form for the adjustment status when I reach USA, and asked her that I will take it when I come back to get my medical result, and she didn't say anything. Then I told her that I want to see the forms, I wanna see how it looks like, and she gave me the form, it is written there DS-5023 but I'm sure that's also DS-3025, and I told her that "this is the papers I filled in at the beginning, right???" And she said yes, and suddenly she said "actually the form can be taken if you have the visa in your hand." and I was like "why you didn't explain to me from the beginning that we will take form DS-3025 when we have the visa in our hand????"

My plan now is wait for the visa and come back to the clinic to get my DS-3025/5023 when the visa is in my hand ;)

So I'm glad I found out about that form before I did the medical. I feel pity for those who haven't given that form from the clinic because they need to take another medical in the US.

I just wish that the clinic tell all the beneficiaries to come back and get their DS-3025/5023 when they have the visa in hand.

Thank you Visa Journey! :)

Hello fellow November filers!

I think my question is specific to the Naples Consulate, so I posted a new topic at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/438608-advice-for-naples/#entry6330876

But maybe one of you knows or can point me to who to ask?

We were approved on May 10 (yay!) and then I received (I'm the petitioner) a letter from NVC with our case number within two weeks after that.

Our understanding from the Naples Consulate was that my fiance was waiting on Packet 3 to be received from the consulate.

After waiting about two weeks, we read on here that you can fax in DS-230 Part 1 and the Applicant's Statement and then will receive instructions for an interview.

My fiance did this last week, and today I received an e-mail that states:

Good Morning,

Thank you for submitting the DS 230 form. Please refer to our website, www.usembassy.it, after July 15th for directions on how to schedule your appointment via the online system.

Regards,

IV Unit

Naples, Italy

Most people I've read on here received a phone number and weren't asked to wait more than a week. We are okay with following instructions, but we also don't want to miss any opportunities to move this along faster if possible, like we did in waiting for Packet 3. Is there any reason we can't attempt to schedule the interview sooner? Any other advice?
Thanks for the help smile.png

Okay, so I actually just went through their website and it looks like they're updating their visa appointment system! Bad timing for us, but there it is!

Will still take advice if anyone has it...sorry for not doing my research first! So used to being confused by what the USCIS tells us :-/
