AHHHH!!! I just checked our case number and it says this too!!! I can't believe it's actually on it's way to the embassy!!

My fiancé sent the updated information about me to the embassy and I'm waiting for the email from the embassy and hope the embassy will email me soon. This is what i see today.

You enter in the NVC tracking number and it will say either at NVC or in transit...it's doesn't give too many details but those two words were all i needed to see!!!

I had given up all hope that we would get approved any time soon......this made my day. Lucky we didn't have her extend at her job until November 30th. Now we have to work hard and get her stuff through the embassy quickly. I know appointments are very easy to get in Saudi Arabia.

That makes sense... i was wondering ours would have gone out on the same day since yours arrived before mine, but maybe they wait till they have a batch and send them all out together. Thanks for doing that research for us though! Another number to obsessively track the status of hahaha

We got our LND number on the 3rd of June but NVC still hasn't sent our file to London, is this normal?

can someone tell me if the i-134 is necessary? cuz it says optional where i-134 is listed... would it affect the visa approval?

ws2k, it's really very strongly recommended and I cannot imagine an approval without an I-134, especially for a difficult consulate such as yours. You absolutely have to convince the consulate that the US citizen has adequate income (125% poverty level) and can support the foreign fiance. You will also be required -- not optional at all -- to file the I-864 as soon as you adjust status in the USA, and the financial info for that is almost exactly the same as the I-134.

My advice: make sure to complete the I-134 and include all relevant documentation (tax transcripts, paystubs, W2s, whatever shows your income), and don't disregard it -- it's serious stuff and many consulates, especially outside of Europe, take the financial matters very seriously and do give denials when the finances are not up to par.

congratulations!!! we are NOV 2012 fillers with an RFE on 4th june:( can anybody tell us how long does it take for NOA2 after RFE?we are in dilema!!
