My fiance spoke to a tier2 today and was told 58 days!!! (where are they getting these numbers from?) If so that is not a 5 months processing time at all, I make that 7 months.. Add to that NVC, medical and a 2-3 month wait for London embassy interview and I am feeling pretty fed up right about now.

Woke up today with an update from the Fiance. We got an RFE! Our case has been finally touched, so that's good news. Now waiting for the hard copy to see what this RFE is about. I have a strong feeling it is about the intent to marry letter because we didn't send one.

We don't know if ours was touched because we sent an email both to congress (Mike Honda) and senate (Barbara Boxer) and called in yesterday and spoke to a level 2 officer which filed a service request. Or maybe it was just our time to be processed.

But I'm in high spirits now even with the RFE.

I posted this under progress reports but it looks like lots of stuff is happening with applicants with the same NOA1 date as us. (Nov. 7th.) I'm re-posting here. BIG congrats to all who have been approved. GREAT news!

My fiance talked to a tier 2 rep today. With some significant prodding he was told

• Our application looks like it will be approved with no RFE. "Straight approval" is what he said.
• We should hear by June 3rd. If we don't hear back by the end of May to call back again.
• He said this info came from the CSC.

I'm scared to believe that our application is being reviewed. Does this add up?? One of the WAC #'s a few away from ours was given an RFE in the last day. Has anyone else been told news "like" this? If so, what was the outcome? Thank you for your help.

I've read up a lot on all the stuff but I think I'm still confused. I'm not asking to be mean or anything but why would someone who applied/NOA1 after say us get approved first? Could it be because the person who did theirs is working faster or what? I know there's probably many factors but our case seems to be pretty simple. We have no previous marriages, no arrest, no children, nothing. Just confusing is all

We're planning to marry on August 10th too!! And our NOA1 was Nov 16th - so even tighter than yours - eek!

There's still hope - Vermont approved a Nov 1st filer, and a Nov 7th filer yesterday (see below) so you must be soon And I've been looking through processing times in London - it takes a lot of people about 2 months and 1 week to get from NOA2 all the way to interview, and then approximately another week to get the visa in hand (see 2nd link below). So if you get the NOA2 soon, August 10th might be doable if you don't get any delays.

We're still aiming for that date because we're just having a garden wedding and can easily turn it into a symbolic event with all our family (who've already booked flights), then have a little legal wedding once the visa comes through.

I can hardly believe how much action there's been on the small group of November 5-8 filers that I'm checking on the dashboard site. A few weeks ago I compiled a list of 58 K-1 filers (Nov 5-8 only). Until yesterday, NOTHING. Since yesterday and really picking up today, 16 of 58 have gotten a decision (10 approvals, 6 RFEs) and two have the mysterious "alien registration number" update. This is FANTASTIC news and shows that for those of us who are early November filers, a decision really is only days away!

I am still hoping for more approvals tonight, but I'll go to bed happy even without that, for the first time in months. I really hope we all get our answers soon, and personally hoping for myself in the next few days!!!

We were approved tonight! (CSC, NOA1 11/02/12) I checked, just as I do every day, expecting to see the same thing and it said Post Decision Activity! Approved! Hang in there everyone, they are getting to us!
