No, it's not. It's just a visajourney thing. USCIS wait times aren't accurate, clearly. Igor's list is comprised of people on VJ that have updated their timeline. Not official, but more accurate than USCIS it seems.

ok..thanks..

Are they going to be able to get through customs? When I called the helpline I was told my fiance wouldn't be allowed into the country due to the type of petition we had submitted...

I wouldn't have thought it would be much of an issue for the US citizen coming into the UK, more likely the other way around if there is going to be a problem...Besides they can hardly expect couples to not see each other for the whole length of the visa application process!!?... 5 months, 6 days and counting.. ClockWatch2.gif

btw what is the whole 'month 0' nonsense about?

Did USCIS tell you that you would get NOA2 within the next 43 days?

I've crossed the American border after my NOA1 and had no issue. Either by air or by land.

As long as your fiance brings proof of ties back in their country, it shouldn't be an issue. When mine visits, he hasn't even been asked for any proof. He brings a letter from his work just in case he does get asked.

Hi everyone, i'm glad i found this thread. I just made an account on VJ last night, lol. Anyways, we are also the November filer and this waiting game is killing me. My fiancé got the NOA1 on November 20. The timeline on here said that we will get the NOA2 around June 20 to July 11, but some of you here got the NOA2 already and it makes me a bit confuse with how CSC works on cases, lol. Congratulation for those who got the approval ?

They told me when I phone that we should receive our NOA2 within 43 days, because that was what VSC was reporting as their processing time. And if we hadn't heard anything within that time frame then we should call on the 44th day...

Ah right ok, my fiance called them last week and all they would say to him was that we are still within processing time and that was that. I can't see that VSC has even touched November yet, the time they have spent so far on October is a bit worrying...unless they have a push this month I don't see how they are going to remain within the 5 months stated. Also, is London still taking 2-3 months for interviews? If so does anyone know if it is possible to get an expedite on that part? Would that be down to the NVC or the Embassy?
