Man, that's the truth. This week flew by. I was teaching a class on the Python programming language (5 full days). With readjusting the material I had originally made, trying out code examples and trying to get them perfect, I was working literally from 4:30 AM to midnight every day. It totally kept my mind off VJ (and pretty much everything else except my lovely fiancee and my little dude). Now I am on my way south of the equator . Two whole weeks where I will probably forget all about you people (sorry). See y'all on the flip side

Congrats to those who have been approved! Has anyone gotten approved before their timeline suggested? Also now that we are at the 5 month mark and VSC processing time listed on USCIS is 5 months, would it be okay to put in a service request?

no to the service request .. called yesterday to ask them that very question, and they said vsc was still working on october. don't know why it says 5 months on the website ..

To answer about the timeline.... Mine jumped around even as far out as July. Then recently it changed to April 17 to May 19. The noa2 came April 15. Noa1 was Nov 20.

Hello all fellow November filers!

November 28th here... is it normal that I am checking the USCIS site several times a day!!? I am getting filled with hope seeing some November filers getting NOA2's this month.. please be me next! Good luck all still waiting and congrats to those with the NOA2 already!

Congrats again to those recently approved! It seems like CSC is really picking up speed..they are now ahead of VSC..looks like we've gotten alot more approvals from CSC than VSC..They keep moving my date back according to my timeline. 2 weeks ago it was May 2-May 9..now it's May 27-June 4..so frustrating!

I'm at CSC and I think I saw my timeline estimation date go into late July and AUGUST before these recent approvals started moving it back! Until the last two days and the improvement, I have been in a deep depression and crying, since it seemed that CSC would never change. (The brilliant spreadsheet that someone on another thread put together was estimating that if CSC didn't change, we wouldn't have our approvals until January 2014!) So it's no wonder I had started writing to the Ombudsman and Director of CSC because there is no WAY I can wait that long to be with my fiance. I really can't overstate, to people who weren't paying attention, just how huge the backlog and delays at CSC are/were.

Even now with the increased pace at CSC, my timeline today says: "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between May 27, 2013 and June 30, 2013."

As things stand now, I'm feeling a lot more hopeful. My gut feeling is that we may get our NOA2 in late May-early June -- that's still 7-8 months of waiting but it's so much better than the 11-13 months that was being projected, that I can't help feeling relieved. I just really hope that CSC keeps up the pace of the last week.

I know VSC is looking worse now -- and I'm sorry for those of you there. I can say that even right now, VSC is still MUCH faster than CSC for early November filers whose cases haven't been touched. If it gets worse, I strongly advise emailing the Ombudsman and getting people involved to make more noise -- I honestly think that helped us with CSC delays!

Anyone else checking their timelines and their case status quite a bit throughout the day? Lol ahhhhhh! Thank goodness i have work and studies to keep me busy and help pass the time..i'm going crazy enough the way it is Has anyone else got approved? It seems VSC has came to a stop..
