Last night I emailed the USCIS ombudsman about my concerns regarding the processing times at CSC and my pending case.

This morning, I received the same response that someone else posted on visajourney yesterday: The processing time at CSC has slipped due to other processing priorities, but they are currently moving resources to the I-129f cases. As they do so, they anticipate the processing time to decrease. (My letter said not to copy and paste it, otherwise I would have posted it here)

Here is the ombudsman email: OLUInquiries@dhs.gov

I suggest everyone write to them. No matter if you just received your NOA1 last week, or if you have been waiting months. It takes 5 minutes to write a couple of sentences about your concern regarding the processing times for K-1 fiance visas at CSC.

It seems they are finally doing something about it, and if we keep the pressure on, maybe they will realize just how bad it has gotten.

I have told my fiance about the bad situation we are in but because of he works long hours and already exhausted when gets home ... it will take a while for him to be able to find time to do this. And I don't want to put more pressures on him ... totally sucks ! :(

Is it possible that Vermont is starting to process two months at once? According to their processing times, they're averaging 5 months. This would be the fifth month for us, but yet there aren't many October approvals.

If you look back at Aug/Sept, they processed those mostly together from what I can remember. Is it just a coincidence? *suspicious face.

Am I imagining it? Are their figures a lie?

I just emailed them. Seeing December filers get approved has me in an absolute tizzy. Why some and not others. What about all the July August filers who are waiting. Seeing some folks gets thru makes the wait harder for some reason. I am happy for them... but I want to "be" them. I sent an email. Maybe I'll hear something back. Our congressman has been very helpful thus far. Hopefully things are going to start moving quickly. Thanks for the nudge to write.
