Gosh, I can relate to how your fiance feels.

Mine said the only reason he takes the long hours of work is only to pass time untill I get home.

But then again trying to be busy with works and other things adds more stress in our life.

The positive side we learn is how good we are handling this as an individual and also as a team.

And that really make us proud.

So yea, we just have to stay strong not only for us but also for our man eh?.

I couldn't agree more. No use stressing ourselves out. I just keep reminding myself that we are halfway there. Still, there are days when I get annoyed of not being with him.

Nov 28th here....I am graduating from my Univ in April as a PhD...It is the time I have to make a decision what to do next. I thought we will be done waiting for our NOA2 before my graduation (I believed in American government and USCIS :bonk: )...and will plan my life with my loved one...not going to happen...and what is even worse we dont know how long we will have to wait to hear back from the CSC....our life is on hold, both personal and professional....dont know what to do...look for a job here in my country and then quit after few months?or maybe a year or two???because who knows how long is it going to take!!??it is just very frustrating no matter how much we try to stay positive about it....so I am so sorry guys for not being positive today...just one of those days....

Very happy for VSC fillers though!!!!!

Well I've decided to make use of all this time by getting fit. Fiance is like stick thin & I'm.. not. I've been making progress there! I just wish that this Visa thing was something I could actively do something about as well.

I am getting antsy waiting for those October approvals from VSC. I check the timelines at least 3 times a day normally, but lately it's more like 7. It'll be soon, though!

I'm happy that people who have been waiting since June/July/August are being approved. I didn't realize there were so many left. c:

I must say.. I've been getting so down and frustrated with this whole process lately. I am so glad I decided to have a read through this forum today and realize so many of us are going through this same, draining, never-knowing process. I've seen some October 2012 filers getting NOA2's, and not trying to get excited, but hopeful ours might come end of April or start of May....?

Does anyone know from receiving the NOA2, how long is it before the interview is scheduled? We will be working with the USA embassy in London. Is it one month or three months?

Ha! So am I. Been putting work out apps and stuff on my phone. Better this than worrying so much about our petitions. I'm glad VSC's been very active but dear lord, I hope CSC picks up.

I checked my timeline here on Visa Journey. It has moved to a week ealier than it was 2 weeks ago. It does look like Vermont is moving on forms now.

Let's hope that we all get within the '5 months' window. If so, that would make NOA2 sometime in April.

Aug 2, 2011 - Met online via a mutual friend.
Dec 2, 2011 - Vivian traveled to USA to attend a medical conference and had our first date. On Dec 10, 2011 - Vivian returned home.
May 15,2012 - Vivian traveled to USA to spend a month with me. smile.png
Sep 15,2012 - Met Vivian in Frankfurt Germany and on to Prague Czech Republic to celebrate our birthdays.
Sep 24, 2012 - Left Viena Austria. The last time I was with Vivian.
Nov 11, 2012 - Mailed in I-129F
Nov 19, 2012 - NOA1 recieved

June 13, 2013 - NOA2 approved.

June 17, 2013 - NOA2 hard copy received.

June 25, 2013 - Consulate received
July 7, 2013 - Packet 3 received

July 13, 2013 - Packet 3 sent

July 28, 2013 - Packet 4 received

Aug 22, 2013 - Interview scheduled and APPROVED!!! kicking.gif

How do you guys feel when you read posts or someone here on VJ or in real life tells you to use this waiting period as time to get to know your fiance(e) better ?

I got so irritated with that today on the other thread ...

I mean ... don't just look based on how long we have been waiting for the good news but also consider of how long a couple been together and what they have to go thru in their relationship.

I'm sure many of us here have taught carefully and logically before we decided to get married , right ?

Gosh... sorry all ... just not feeling good at the moment. Reading depressing threads makes me more depressed.

It does get me down too. But there's no use thinking about it so much since stressing over it with my CSC woes will just make me go insane. :)) Since he doesn't like dwelling on the depressing stuff too much, he calms me down and we talk about our plans on what we'd do when we're finally done; lke finding a nice apartment for us when I'm finally there.

Check out my timeline. I'm still waiting for an interview and I've sent all my forms back asap. Seems like even when you get to London they take a long time as well. No rushing in this business.
