hi all my best friends. i will apply next month citizenship . i have one question about my wifes birth certificate,, i will send my wifes birth certificated s copies with n400 to uscis.. when the interview came to me . do i need to bring original birth certificated of my wifes??

Yes, bring originals to your interview if you submitted photocopies with your N-400 application. good.gif

It is the IO's discretion really. I have submitted photocopies before & was never asked for the originals during interview. It's up to you if you bring the original or not. You can submit a photocopy of the Bio page of your wife's US passport instead.

i had bad story almost one year ago police arrested me about the trafic and i stajed one night in the detention center., they took my fingerprint and bio so i found bail bond and thet let me out .. the reason of my arrest .. out of state drive without suspend licance... how is it dear all my best friend that they are.. is it going to bad affect on my case?

This marriage privilege three year seems ridiculous, they have all that information already from the AOS and ROC stages, but want to see it again, and again. No wonder why my wife commented that her file was over three inches thick.

Yes, you have to provide all that information, again, and yes you only send in photocopies. And yes you bring in all the originals you photocopied, but also make sure you leave with all those originals. Your IO has the right to see them, if only just to compare them with your photocopies to make sure your photocopies are not forgeries. Whether they do this or not is up to your IO. If you don't have all of your originals, and they do want to see them, you will experience severe delays and more trips.

You never know what kind of IO you will get. Can wait another two years and skip all this nonsense.
