Ok, on everyone's timeline, there is something about "touched." What the heck is that? Does it have to do with keeping track of your status online on USCIS.GOV?

Ok, speaking of USCIS.GOV, I created a login on their site, but I don't have a receipt number. I mailed in the AOS packet last week. Do I recieve the reciept number on the NOA1? I put in the reciept number of the NOA1 for the I-129F, but I guess that doesn't work for the AOS?

Thanks in Advance!

Read Captain Ewok's Post: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=300

It explains very well the what, and how of Touches!

NOA1 will have the case number that you need, or it may be printed on the back of your cashed check.

Welcome to VJ!

janda,

It's a method that some VJers use to drive themselves crazy, somewhat similar to Chinese water torture but without the water.

Yes Awesome :thumbs: During that month that our case was at VSC I found my self checking the site for any news at least 30 or 40 times a day. Truly torture! I can just imagine what the petitioners that were stuck through IMBRA, at the great fortress CSC were going through! :clock:

My recommendation check 1 time a day, or you will loose all your marbles!:hehe:
