Three inappropriate posts removed. Stay on topic.

I will take that to mean my posts are on topic despite Democratic whining. In my opinion the GOP ad should go much further, this election and every election

The Great Society's INTENT was to keep blacks in their place despite the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act which the Democrats could not stop, despite their best efforts. Plan B was to place them on "reservations", just like they did with the Native Americans, and keep them there with payments, trinkets and by fixing it so their education made it the BEST they could do. Worked pretty well. Gerrymandering "safe black districts" results in a very few "safe black districts" and a WHOLE BUNCH of "safe white districts" to minimize the effect of the black population on congress. "Black issues" being safely confined to a few "black districts" the rich, white Democrats are free to do as they choose and ignore black people except to give them small increases in the FREE stuff to keep them beholden.

Affirmative Action is just as racist, strategically placing a few black people in positions they are not qualified for, thereby reinforcing racial stereotypes. Kind of like replacement referrees in the NFL. The replacements did nothing for the reputation of replacements, did they? Affirmative Action is discrimination, it is racist. It is not "reverse racism" it is JUST racism.

Totally agree on that!!

It's ridiculous to suggest that today's Republicans resemble the party of Abraham Lincoln.

Today, what were your southern Democrats are all Republicans. You may not have noticed but the south is pretty red. It's ridiculous to suggest that today's Republicans resemble the party of Abraham Lincoln.

Talk about bait and switch. This thread is about a political ad by a GOP super pac targeting African American voters. Any of you trolling would care to discuss the topic, feel free. But every post so far is off topic.

I addition to pointing out the racist policies of the Democrats, the ads should point out how Democrats seek to suppress freedom of speech

See above.

Wallace, A Democrat, stood on the steps of the University of Alabama with armed National Guardsmen prepared to start a second civial war over blacks going to U of A. That was in MY lifetime. I saw it on TELEVISION

Today, meaning November 2, 2012, Democrats do everything they can top maintain an uderclass of Hispanics to be exploited for profit.

http://www.cnn.com/2012/10/13/opinion/granderson-affirmative-action/index.html?iref=allsearch, this is a good article pointing out why it still exists. I still haven't heard one reason why minorities should roll with the GOP. What's the better choice, the ghetto or the noose?

Charles, put my post back on this thread! I was addressing Gary's earlier post! This is absurd. You removed my whole post because I mentioned his name? When has that ever caused you to remove posts that mention me by name? Holy sh!t!

It was a personal attack, and you know it!

bullsh!t! I was responding to his earlier post and his position. It was a scathing critique of Ayn Randian fanboys who hang out here in P&R and habitually make the same arguments over things like welfare. Gary believes, as many other Randian fanboys, that welfare is some kind of Democratic conspiracy to keep African Americans down and dependent on government. He's free to articulate that his position is different than that, but anyone can go back and read what he posted as well as a number of other Randian fanboys here. And if Randian fanboys is an insult, then so is calling liberals such myself who post her, '**' so if Charles is going delete every post like that, he should start with all his Right Wing friends here.

his own words....

In the final days of the campaign in Ohio, the stops have been pulled out in the scramble to eke out a win. And that means one super PAC calling on African Americans to vote against President Obama because Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves.

Cable viewers in several markets across the state are being treated to ads by an obscure self-described "alternative conservative" super PAC called the Empower Citizens Network. One of the group's ads accuses Obama and Democrats of imploding the economy by forcing mortgage companies to lend to "unqualified borrowers" while the Soviet national anthem plays. Another promises welfare recipients that "Republicans can save your money source" by reducing regulations on business.

And then there's the ad which one viewer told TPM is airing in the Columbus area on cable. Our source caught it a couple of times on MSNBC. That ad is the Empower Citizens Network spot that tells African Americans it's a "lie" that Democrats support them and cites the Emancipation Proclamation as evidence.

And Obama wants people to vote for him because it would be like getting de flowered by a cool guy in a bar.. Free the slaves... VS.. Getting De-flowered in a bar. Hmm tough choice right ?

Oh, I see. Payback for reporting posts that deliberately try to derail a thread. And of course, there's no irony in your post.
