Hello everyone. I've got another question:

1. Does it matters if we send more than what is only required along with the I-129F package?

2. Is it ok if we also include the beneficiary's passport biographic page photocopy, Birth certificate (photocopy), NBI clearance with Travel abroad purpose and CENOMAR?

All comments are very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

I think it doesn't matter. In my case, I included my passport bio page and birth certificate (to prove my citizenship) copy and cenomar ( which proves that I am single and can legally marry. hehehe). Let's see what the results will be soon. I will send you an update once we get the post activity decision.

Hey Everyone,

I am new here but I've been reading forums for a while now and finally I've decided to participate so I signed up today. My question is similar, I am still confuse as a beneficiary on what exactly should I send and sign that will go together with the I-129F.

1. Do I need to get a copy of my NBI clearance now and send it to my BF so he can include it in the application? Can I just scan it and email to him? or send it by post office? or no need at the moment because the nbi clearance is only needed at the time of the interview at the us embassy manila?

2. How about the picture? Can i just scan it and email to him?

3. The G-325a? Can I print it, sign it, scan it and email it back to him? or should I send it via courier?

4. Is it necessary to have the letter of intent to marry notarized? or my signature is enough? Can I also scan it and email it to him?

Email is the fastest and cheapest than going to the postal office every timethere is a document to send... IEMS costs 888 pesos for 250gms and below... the problem with that is it takes a week, so if i forgot to include one document, not only i will pay 888 pesos, even if it's just 5gms (1 document) everytime, we also need to wait a week again.

Can anyone help us with this?

thanks in advance! :)

Hi fellow Vj members who got questions on what documents u must include in the I-129 as the beneficiary..In my case i sent the following docs to my fiance and it went well so far..I am waiting for my interview on Nov. 23, 2012.

1. original copy of birth certificate ( MUST BE ISSUED BY NSO )

2. Hand written letter of intent with my signature ( original copy )

3. Typed written letter of intent with signature ( original )

4. scanned copy of all pages of my passport ( u can email this and ur fiancee can print so it wont be heavy in the package)

5. filled G325-a form with signature ( original)- this form cnt be scanned must have the original ink of signature

6. pictures can be scanned and some proofs like boarding passes of your fiancee, receipts when u spent time together etc. ur fiancee can do all these stuffs.. like wht my fiancee did..pls try to read more of the instructions and guides in assembling the 1-129 packet on this site it's all there to further give you the details..there is no need for NBI, CENOMAR yet..

Hello everyone. I've got another question:

1. Does it matters if we send more than what is only required along with the I-129F package? It won't hurt but I say don't bother. Just send what's required and double check.

2. Is it ok if we also include the beneficiary's passport biographic page photocopy, Birth certificate (photocopy), NBI clearance with Travel abroad purpose and CENOMAR? The only required docs from beneficiary are G-325A and Letter of Intent. If previously married, then the Annulment Decree and Annotated Marriage Certificate from NSO.

All comments are very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Good luck on your journey!

Get a copy of your NBI later on, it only has a validity of 1 year. You'll bring this at the interview and it doesn't have to be with the petition.

2. How about the picture? Can i just scan it and email to him? If you have the digital copy, email the files to him and have him print in the US. It will save you tons of money.

3. The G-325a? Can I print it, sign it, scan it and email it back to him? or should I send it via courier? Original copy and ink signed only, post mail it.

4. Is it necessary to have the letter of intent to marry notarized? or my signature is enough? Can I also scan it and email it to him? Original copy and ink signed only, don't need it to be notarized or certified. Post mail it.

Use DHL as the safest way from Philippines to US. It will costs you at least 1000php for 10 sheets of docs. He'll get it in a day or two.

Can anyone help us with this?

thanks in advance! :)

Good luck on your journey!
