Does anyone know if the US embassy in Budapest, Hungary allows for co-sponsors?If I am unemployed what do I fill out on the I-134? My mom will be our co-sponsor so I know that she has to fill out one too. What paperwork/documents do I need from her?

11/15/2012: NOA1

05/30/2013: NOA2
06/13/2013: NVC Received

06/19/2013: NVC Left

06/27/2013: Consulate Received
07/02/2013: Packet 3 Received

No personal experience but European embassies almost always allow co-sponsors, especially when it is a close relative like your mom.

Since you are unemployed, you'll have to put"0" as your income. If you have any assets, you can still list them and should include the last three years tax returns anyway (if you were required to file as not unemployed then).

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

What did the Embassy say when you emailed them this question?

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!
