How to get documents certified

Oh so I suppose this would be like if I lost my birth certificate and had to have them print another one?

Then it would be a certified copy? I've had that done before... though I lost that one too so... :lol:

Yes but what you thought of as the original would also have been a certified copy. Other than exceptions like China and a few others, a certified copy is only issued by the government agency holding the original. You do not copy a document yourself and then get the copy certified by somebody.
