Hello everyone! I am back with some questions, please HELP! I got my employment authorization card or the I-766 form, available for one year, last week, finally! Its on my marriage name. My social security number its on my maiden name. My question is: using the employment card can i go and change my social security number on my marraige name? I want to get my driving licence and i know i can do it using the employment card but i dont want to have no problems because there are two diffrent names. I didnt change before my social security number because me and my husband went to late, one week before the K 1 visa was about to expire :(. I need the driving licence so i start looking for a job, i am tired of vacationnnnnn lol. An other question: on the USCIS site, on my case status, it says that they got the request of evidence on 25 sept and I should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date they received my response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case. The case is processed at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. My question is: at what should i expect, an interview or just an answer and could i get the answer before the 60 days expire lol I know its sily question but... i am looking for that hope :) Ok guys, thank you very much for the answers in advance and good luck to everyone! God bless!

to change your name on your SS card from your maiden name to your married name you need to go down to your local SS office with your orginial cerified copy of your marriage certificate and your ID, fill out the paperwork they give you, and they will mail you a new card (same number-just has the married name) in about 2 weeks.

Yes you can go to the social security office with your marriage license and EAD card and they will change your name. They will mail you a new card in about 2 weeks after you do that.
