Biometrics appointment in the morning....

Just wanted to be sure there wasn't something we were missing. My wife arrived with the K-1 Visa.

The notice we received just said to bring the notice and a form of ID (she's bringing her passport). We already paid up front when we sent in the I-485 form.

Anything we're overlooking? How long should we expect to be there? (Appt is at 10am)

Thanks!

If her name on her passport is different than the one on the notice, have her bring her marriage certificate.

It takes less than an hour. :)

It's exactly like Didopage said! Be there at least half hour earlier. She must bring her passport, marriage certificate and the biometrics appointment letter she received. All the process at the local USCIS office usually doesnt take too long...In my case only took like 15 minutes! we waited more outside in the line than inside!

Like 2 weeks later I received my EAD-AP combo card!

Awesome...thanks for the tip. I will be taking my folder with "everything" in it (all acceptances notices, marriage certificates, etc). Nice to know I will definitely need it since the Biometrics letter came with her new married name on it.

I hope we get her permission to work a few weeks after...she's dying to get back to work.

Thanks!
