I originally mailed our packet to Chicgo lock box. It was then transfered to NBC (Lee's Summitt) and then transferred to Memphis, my local field office.

Congrats to KDH!!!

No, we haven't been notified that it has been transferred to a local office. However, as my husband and I are living separately (with him in the US and me in Australia) I believe that it won't get transferred.

I haven't been notified of my case being transferred to Local office, but I called in March and found out that it was transfer on Jan 9. I went to my Local office and they confirm that they will be processing my case. If he was living abroad, it wouldn't have transferred but he is in US, so most likely it is at Local office. If your case was at NBC, it would have been approved by now.

You should call USCIS and talk to Tier2 officer, you should specifically ask if your case is currently being processed at Local office.

What is your Local office?

I think our local office would be Atlanta but I've heard that they're super slow so I am really hoping that's not the case!!
