NikiR- do you mind me asking if your case was ever transferred to a local office, or was it handled at the service center the entire time? Or do you not know?

I'm sure yours will be fine and perhaps ours hasn't left the field office yet and all will be right as rain. What they've supposedly done with ours makes absolutely no sense and I'm hoping that the letter was some sort of last minute holiday weekend mistake. I just can't wrap my head around it at all.

So it seems we will be doing what amounts to a new DCF petition.

just for kicks, I called NVC to see if they received my wife's case.

they didn't have it, however, the nice CSR i spoke with on the phone told me to wait 15 business days for them to receive my wife's approved petition.

i am still waiting for the hard copy of my NOA2. does anyone have a timeframe as to when i should be receiving the hard copy of my NOA2?

i'm curious if my wife's case was sent to the Vegas Field Office or did it really stay at NBC? well find out soon enough...

Today is Day 100 & I am still patiently waiting for NOA2 to arrive & faithfully clicking on the website to check my status almost everyday. My file hasn't been touched since December 18th (which is when they put us in the system)

I don't know. My husband never called. It wasn't lightening fast so I assume a local office, but to be honest unless the NOA2 gives a clue, which I doubt, I'll never know.
