The ISO was super sweet - I'll hear back in a week about the expedite (I have a strange feeling denied) and my I-130 has not been sent to Hartford or any other field office.

I'm glad that the ISO was sweet...at least that part was as pleasant as it could be. Crossing fingers that you get good news with your expedite!

So i called just a few minutes ago and asked if my case has been transferred to any field offices. The representative told me that it was still at wherever NBC and also looks like my case will be in the correct processing time. So hopefully his right and my husband can be with in the USA at the end of the year hoping. By the way my local field office would washington field office.

Aaah, well they can only see what you see online and nothing more. You'll have to speak to an ISO to know whether you've been sent to a field office.

I've thought about the same thing...except that I'm emotionally incapable of being separated from my Husband for extended periods of time!

I'm pretty good at crying, I wonder if I called up and cried for an extended period of time to an ISO they'd approve my application just to make me go away?? lol :)

Haha, yes a crying man will definitely get a better response!

I'm not in the same boat but I'm working as a temporary employee and they keep asking how long until my visa will be approved and I can't give them an answer...I'm scared for the day that they can't extend my employment contract any further! They could turn around and tell me I'm finished tomorrow because they've found a permanent replacement!! It's scary not knowing how long you'll be employed for!

im an extremely valuable employee to my company

i was the fifth person hired during startup three years ago

now we have like 25 employees and we're a four mil dollar company

ive keep things secret to protect my job security

so my biggest fear is really just demotion

but if i dont get that expected raise upon moving then im screwed

I'm lucky to have a good relationship with my boss which is why he's kept me on since May last year when I was only supposed to be here for 6weeks! haha. He's also been awesome with all of the time off I've had when I was too depressed to get out of bed annnnnnnnnnd he's allowed me a month off to go and visit my husband next week :D But I don't know how much more I can push my luck here.

Fingers crossed that you get your raise and don't get demoted or fired!!
