Philly was averaging 3.5 months excluding Oct and Nov in 2012 but jumped to 9+ in Oct and Nov. If they can drop it down to 6, I'll be happy.

And CSC is practically out of I-130s to do....

I wonder if they'll take some back?

I think we'd be going to VSC anyways, so I know there is no hope for us.

I think they're saving CSC for the amnesty forms.

I think they're saving CSC for the amnesty forms.

And VSC processes the Adam Walsh cases.

On most of the major field office charts, you can see a minor uptick around October 2011 (not sure why) that most of them caught up with. Then you see a drop in processed cases in August 2012 for a lot of offices; I'm guessing some heavy training was going on then. Then the number of pending cases started going up-up-up for all field offices. They were all really slammed in the October reporting period, then submissions dropped a bit in the latest (November) reporting period. Most of the field offices reported a drop in completions for the November period as well.

San Antonio field office is the worst I've seen so far; pending 2,804 cases with only 174 completions in the latest report. :wow::angry: (Edit: Gah, I take it back, NYC is pulling on hip waders about now.)

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

*faints* By then and NVC we'd almost be eligible for our spousal visa in Denmark.

WOW!

The Dane gets 3 weeks of summer vacation (and vacation money) and a ton of other vacation time, about 3 weeks....so at least we'll get to see each other if it takes a year for the CR1 to come through.

Just called uscis, and asked if my case is still at NBC or local office, CSR said she does not have that info, asked for transfer and after an hour of wait the ISO told me my case was transferred to Atlanta field office on Jan 4th. Last time I called an ISO said my case would most likely not be transferred. Don't know what it all means and wife's patience is running out, I might just move to pakistan until visa comes.

edit: fixed ISO and CSR

I think you are confusing ISO and CSR.

CSR cannot see where your file is at.

ISO can. You also hold for ISO, not so much for CSR.

Also, I suggest you join the Atlanta thread if you have not done so.

Transfers are standard for I-130 cases that you did not file with an I-485 because they are transferring most such cases to local offices as of August 15, and will do so until sometime in early 2013. It would be unusual for your standalone case not to be transferred.

If your wife's patience is running out after two months processing, please tell her that she must be patient for a while longer, even if everything goes perfectly and quickly. After your I-130 is processed, there are more steps to take. Don't get worried before there is a reason to worry. Don't move back unless you have a way to come back into the US if requested for an interview or to produce documents.

I've heard nothing back about the expedite request and I'm really dreading calling tomorrow about it. I haven't seen any cases on VJ were it took USCIS over a week to request evidence and the outright denials seem to happen within days of calling....

Senator's aid still hasn't emailed me back.

Positive sign or most depressing sign ever? I don't know...but I'm about ready to throw up my arms and really just plan on him making it to America in like October or November.

I can't decide whether to contact the Representative now or wait, maybe I'll decide based on the conversation tomorrow. I do really like him and we've chatted before and I even voted for his Democratness even though I'm a Libertarian. I'd just rather the less people know about our problems the better, you know?

Senator's aid is contacting them today about my case. Maybe good? It was after I sent an email yesterday basically saying "Are you still interested in assisting us?"

Good Luck. The Democrat senator and representative haven't responded to my family's concern in the past. However the republican senator has been much more helpful surprisingly. We've always emphasized 'legal taxpayer' when contacting him.

This is seriously ridiculous. Another CSR just told me to go to the embassy in Copenhagen to get more info on my I-130 and that they didn't take foreign addresses for the petitioner. What is wrong with these people?

The ISO was super sweet - I'll hear back in a week about the expedite (I have a strange feeling denied) and my I-130 has not been sent to Hartford or any other field office.
