Just called now. File transferred to Philly 01/24. W-O-W. 2 months it was sitting at NBC...was hoping to celebrate my wife's birthday in August in the USA. Looking unlikely, but holding hope. With work holiday policy, won't have a week off accrual until September.

That is not promising.

If I find out that they transferred us when I call tomorrow, I'm going to flip. What if they call us in for an interview thinking we are in America? This is so fail right now.

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

How do you find the stats for the field offfices?

When you go to check your status on USCIS website, scroll to the bottom and look for trends and volumes. Choose 1-130 Imm rel and pick your field office. Which city is closest to you, I can look it up if you can't locate it.

Well, that was fast.

I still haven't heard anything back about mine. :(

I'm wondering if maybe the ISO lied and it is at Hartford. If I am reading it right in November they had 2100 I-130s pending and 146 completions.

That is a TERRIBLE completion rate!

We work on an accrue policy, but it doesn't work THAT way.

It's basically just for people that start half way through the year, that's how their days for the year are calculated.

I'm still able to take off all (2) weeks if I so choose in January.

How do you find the stats for the field offfices?

I know, right? 146 I-130s in one month doesn't even sound like 1 adjudicator.

I'm so afraid of getting called for an interview and my parents are careless with mail and I would never see it.

You know the CSR argued with me over and over that I would be notified if I was transferred.

I kept saying 'no, doesn't work that way anymore. no, people don't always get notified'

She was like YES YES YES YES YES!

2100 divided by 146 per month = 14.38month approval time.

Denver has about the same completion rate... 2466 and only 236 completions. At this rate I won't be moving until autumn, if I'm lucky.

Don't even get me started....I made a post about it on my facebook. I felt some sympathy for children brought to America illegally, but this is adults overstaying visas and things. Cut me a break.

I'm just going to try and take the approach, that I'm going to move back to America with or without him in May in between my semesters. If it is the fall that he comes, then it will be the fall.

 Yep!

Approval for me in 6 mos.

And my sad booty wanted to be moved in 6 mos.

Ahhh far fetched dreams.

As long as my wife moves in 2013, I'll be happy. 10 more months w00t based on Philly turnaround time.

The wait doesn't bother me.

It bothers my boss who is tired of my working remote.

It's hard for me to manage a dept when you are never in the dept

Houston is at pending 5,537 and latest month reported completions at 633. Receipts have been trending DOUBLE completions for the past two recorded months; before then they seemed to be completing petitions roughly at the same rate they were received (but not making any headway on a backlog of consistently about 1500 cases until they started receiving transferred petitions in August). That seems to indicate that they were actually completing petitions in the 5 month window before they got hit with the onslaught. I suppose this means we Houstonians are going to wait 8-9 months unless something changes. How is it that the service centers were able to make, or nearly make, target times, and now that the work has been farmed out, things are SLOWER?

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

All advice is given pursuant to the Disclaimer that you may read at the bottom of each forum page.

LATEST STEPS:

28 Jun 2013: POE Houston

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

And CSC is practically out of I-130s to do....

I wonder if they'll take some back?

I think we'd be going to VSC anyways, so I know there is no hope for us.
