There are no July Applications.

Lol I just noticed the VJ timeline opened up.

It's not just a small window, but basically for me, now, it says more or less the entire month of february lmao

I think if you don't count in the people who got approved super fast and skewed the results, it should probably be going into the March zone for sure.

Drafting off another letter to my favorite representative who is always on top of things (we've chatted before) with the hopes he can push our case forward. With the recent file abroad approvals of 30 something days I'm a little crushed. Me thinks it is best to wait until early Monday morning to fax him though. I don't think I can make it until May.

you know, I've been contemplating about writing to my congressman as well.

if I were to write my congressman, I'm afraid my file will be taken away from the ISO working on my file, thus creating a longer wait time.

I'll decide the course of action to take after "Nola123" updates us on what happens with her case.

It really bothers me that a lot of I-130 petitions filed after us are getting approved regardless of whether or not they live abroad (no offense to those who do live abroad).

my priority date is 05 Nov 2012 so I just file recently...

let's enjoy this weekend and see what happens next week.

they may just do a major update to the system and it will show our petitions being approved! hehehe...

Well, I wouldn't use my case as an example to go by, they seem to have made some mistakes with regards to it. I'm not even sure what is going on with it.

I have a very strange feeling it is sitting in some random stack at NBC nowhere where it should be, because when they changed our addresses to America we got pulled out of the file from abroad line and put somewhere else. Maybe in with the December filers? Maybe thrown in the corner of someone's office? Who knows.

what I meant "NOLA123" is if your congressman can help with your file being expedited and/or get USCIS to fix all of your issues, I might just do that myself.

i've been following your timeline and all your posts. i can tell your not having the most pleasant experience with USCIS.

perhaps USCIS SOP Manual needs to be revamped to keep up with the demand and one of the ways to do that is to bring it to the attention of our representatives and/or senators.

if an CSR or an ISO at USCIS can tell me honestly the possible wait time at NBC, i'd have an easier time accepting it but i doubt that will happen anytime soon.

i hope it does't go past six months or even reach six months for that matter,,,

I just wouldn't expect similar results if you do end up contacting your Congressperson, etc. In general, if your case is within processing guidelines then they can't really do anything for you. I'm not really sure they've done anything for us else than clarify the address issue so far.

Hey Everyone!

This week has started out very quiet!

I hope USCIS starts picking it up this week! I know I could use some very good news..

@Nola123 - Of course we wouldn't have the same results. True, I couldn't do anything anyway until six months have passed. I doubt that's gonna happen.

Hope you all had a good weekend...

They just updated the stats on the USCIS website. Philly field office has about 3000 cases pending and have been averaging 300 completions a month. So I guess I should prepare for a 10 month wait. Moved to Philly from SF. Just checked the SF trend also for giggles. They have about 4000 cases pending and approved 830 cases in November. Or a 4.8 month wait. FML.

I got 5.2k and 800/mo approved.

Philly is a bunch of slow pokes so I wouldn't say that you were too far off there.

No kidding. The max they've approved in a month since December 2010 is 546 in June 2011. Still 300 less than SF. Shameful! In 2012 the max they approved was 435 in March. I'm getting sick just reading it.

I do trade shows for a living.

Anytime a client has a show in philly,

I roll up extra hours because I know they're lazy and slow and never do anything in the amount of time they should.

One guy charged me an extra hour because he had to bring a TV in with him.

Now, keep in mind, the guy still had to walk from his car to the convention center,

but somehow that tv I guess added an extra hour to the trip.

Good luck! ;)

I tried calling earlier and I got so nervous!

Then it told me to call back because it's apparently running on central time due to my skype number.

I suppose I could have just called on my cell lol
