Not everyone finds out if their file moves.

Some people see it updated online.

Some people get an RFE.

Some people call and ask an ISO.

2 Months from now? Maybe.

Just don't be disappointed.

Thank you, KDH. I think I will call ISO on end of Feb if I dont get any news about NOA 2 that time. Wish no need to call them. Wishing you and everyone a smooth visa journey.

LOL.

The only way I can read my own posts is to break them up.

I have difficulty reading and processing.

I also prefer when they're kind of all the same size-ish.

You'll also see me start to make stairs.

If they start to happen naturally, then I'll force them to continue.

Take a DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP breath! Visualize when you will see your love one at the airport, it will just be even more special when you two reunite! (L) It'll be ok....I heard ya and feel your frustration too!

Thank you buddy.

When i try to visualize, for some reason, my hair looks very grey in the picture...and my wife looks very very old....LOL thanks to USCIS..

Also .my predicted approval in VJ time line keeps shifting every day going NORTH....:-(((( 2 days ago it said approval could happen anytime from 1/24-XX, yesterday it said 1/25-XX now it says, Feb1-XX. There seem to be further delays at USCIS...

That is just the September/October filers finally being approved, that'll push it right up.

*sigh* Sometimes I wish that we had just done AOS back in May.

so you went to the lockbox then nbc then back to chicago?

That has always sounded so funny to me.

I wonder if that's happened to mine too.

No it went to Chi, then NBC , then my local office in my home state ( not Chicago )

Then you might want to change the fact that you've listed your home office as Chicago in your profile...

A little re-tweak of the cases: 277 standalone I-130s of Nov 6/7/8, 48 approved. That is 17.6%

22 of the 48 have been approved in the last week.

For the above, 61 now approved, 22% of the 277 cases on Nov 6/7/8

I hope that helps the rest of us maybe not feel so left out. ;)

YVW...yep, the timeline is shifting for me too (later and later)! We have the same exact date NOA1 date. What can we do? I think they are still working on July, Aug. & Sept. applications for some reason!??

We're still well within date range. What happened to the timeline estimate is that a group of people were approved early. That means the system assumed that everyone would also be approved early. The early approvals skewed the results. Initially the timeline said that I (a mid-October filer) would be approved two months and three days after my filing date, which we all know is almost ridiculously early. Now that more approval dates are coming in, it is saying I should expect to be approved within a few days from now, which is much more realistic. Oddly I feel safer with an estimated date after the current date, because then I can feel that the case is progressing normally and nothing is wrong.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

LATEST STEPS:

28 Jun 2013: POE Houston

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

I wouldn't read too much into VJ timeline, since the projections are based only off the people who have registered with VJ. Without the "sample size of I-130 cases who have registered with VJ" & "total size of I-130 cases filed in NOV" we wont know how accurate its going to be..:-) Have fun following tho...while it lasts..LOL

There are no July Applications.

Lol I just noticed the VJ timeline opened up.

It's not just a small window, but basically for me, now, it says more or less the entire month of february lmao
