I dont know if it is tomorrow or 5-7 months do you ? Thats the issue...:-). And +4 months for the process to complete there after..! Before you know your spouse will need to be reminded who you are....:LOLLLL

Well nobody knows with the cases filed after August 15th. There is no ISO or customer service rep who can really tell you a time frame, save if they were to somehow know it was on somebody's desk (which I don't think the ISO can even tell with the field offices).

Well this is how most of us feel with the process:

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

The CSR told me that they couldn't deliver mail to USC abroad and must of changed his address at that point.

Seriously, the guy on the phone last night told me to go to the US embassy to get more information about my I-130. How fail is that?

Just another case in point of why the USCIS line is often referred to as the misinformation line. What's more unfortunate is the lie about not delivering mail abroad and changing the address has resulted in a serious problem (hopefully you can get your case expedited based on USCIS error once this all gets straightened out).

As for the second point, it would appear that these CSR's will make stuff up on the fly if it's not on their script.

congrats dude...I wish I knew, I would have gone to Nigara falls, enjoyed my vacation and fedexed our papers from Toronto to make it to Chicago Lockbox....weird but looks like it is working for everybody who has filed from abroad. Sadly for those like myself who live a couple of miles away from chicago lock box,,,it seems to be for ever....:-((((

Ummm, have you not been following my story. LOL!

Not so well for this file from abroad.

As to the other question - I haven't had my IP blocked and have looked at lots of cases repeatedly. Maybe because my ip is Danish or I'm starting out after logging in?

Yeah! your filing form abroad has been an exception indeed, cause they are still trying to figure where you live...:-) just kidding.

Exactly, you can punch in the numbers any number of times and you can see the case status. It is public information and no point using complicated technology to block IP and stuff...i guess. What they need to apply technology is to approve I-130 in a days turn around time. ONE DAY PERHAPS..who knows.

That is violating basic human dignity and rights...defeats the basic constitution of Immigration Policy...isnt it ?

Come ON...what frustrates me, is a "US Citizen" has to go through a re-verification process" this takes 7 months....man USCIS/FBI/CIA/Intepol all need their systems with a major overhaul..!! US is behaving like third world....countries...these days..even worse.!

And that too to bring their loves ones and "seperation of couple" as if dosent even count...as a topic of discussion...BULL SHITTTT.

Man Immi policies with resepect to this issue for sure is way too **(*@(@#* UP

Take a DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP breath! Visualize when you will see your love one at the airport, it will just be even more special when you two reunite! (L) It'll be ok....I heard ya and feel your frustration too!

Mine went to Chicago, then NBC, and now it was sent to my local office on Jan. 7. Don't know if that will speed things up. Not sure!

so you went to the lockbox then nbc then back to chicago?

That has always sounded so funny to me.

I wonder if that's happened to mine too.

Sorry to bother you all.

Mine is MSC........ and that can be in NBC. When I log in to check the status, I only found last updated Dec 12, 2012 and still initial review. My NOA1 is Nov 29, 2012.

As per VJ time line, I can only get my NOA2 around mid or end of Feb. And I am not really hoping to get NOA 2 in 2 months time. But I just curious that how other people find out where their file is.

Not everyone finds out if their file moves.

Some people see it updated online.

Some people get an RFE.

Some people call and ask an ISO.

2 Months from now? Maybe.

Just don't be disappointed.
