I just received an email today stating that on January 17, 2013 our case was approved!!!!!

Our priority date was November 13 and I was actually very surprised it was approved already!! Best birthday present ever, God definitely heard my prayers!!

I wish everyone the best of luck on this journey and pray that everyone gets an approval soon!!

My husband called yesterday to USCIS and officer said that they are mostly working on june and earlier cases, so he said we will have to wait more 3 months or so. that is sux!

Being that cases only starting in August were transferred to NBC.....

that's what officer told him. i really hope it is not like that.

It isn't true, they are processing June cases at VSC, but JULY ones at CSC, and a whole range of cases at NBC without much rhyme or reason.

I guess they don't call it the misinformation line for nothing. ;)

Hey Everyone!

Congrats to the most recent approvals!

I called USCIS today and asked how is it that I-130's past my "priority date" are getting approved?

The answer was typical BS hehehe....

I noticed that USCIS doesn't post processing times for NBC. I wonder why?

I think we all should call USCIS and complain that I-130's that filed after are "priority date" are getting approved and we should demand why that is so.

Then again if I stir the pot too much they might put my application at the bottom of the pile...

Just letting out my frustration. Let's enjoy the weekend and see what happens come Monday...

They won't care and don't care. I did explain it in my letter to my senator but I doubt it will do much good. It is all very frustrating, no?
