Hopefully it will come soon.

I'm trying to take this time to sit back and enjoy the wait. I think I'll get to that kind of level of mental zen if I really put my mind to it. :help:

Best to ask in the DCF sub-section.

Also you might want to change the date in your signature to standard American format of 11/5/2012, otherwise it looks like you filed in May.

Because I obviously suffer from some sort of weird OCD math and data problem: of the 1200 applications I have gone through so far (and I probably miss some when I try and jump over the tons of other types of applications) for November 7th and November 8th, there are 146 straight non-AOS I-130s I have stumbled over. Of these there is 1 reaffirmed case and 13 approved cases. Of the 13 approved, 10 were approved between December 13-20. The other 3 were approved on January 2 and 3.

That is roughly 10% approved. Speedwell, from the October Filers says that only about 20% of those on October 18th were approved. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/393681-october-2012-i-130-filers/page__view__findpost__p__5912306

For those keeping up with it Speedwell's new estimate: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/393681-october-2012-i-130-filers/page__view__findpost__p__5919902 up to 25% for mid October.

For my November 6/7/8 estimate of 208 straight non-AOS I-130s: 20 have been approved as of this morning. That is 9.6%

10 were approved in December between the 13th and 20th. 10 were approved in January between the 2nd and 10th.

25% of the surrounding 25 I-130s of my application have been approved.

I think that's true of every day... I've looked downward ~100 cases from mine and still get the same date, except for some odd ones on the lower end with random earlier dates, and a block of ~20 in the middle from the day before. It must be like an avalanche when they open their mailbox! I almost feel bad for the people processing these files.

Almost.

Me, work? Plus, no offence to anyone, but with my Danish skills there is only one job available: cleaning lady. Nej tak. (No thanks).

Actually my semester sort of starts today, so I am going to have a lot less free time, especially with tutoring the husband in Calculus.

Crunching numbers is sort of how I roll with being like this |-| close to finishing my math degree. I would have been done this semester, even with part time if they hadn't shut me out of last. :crying:

If I get an RFE, will it appear online?

Because my parents are SO bad with mail...

My biggest fear is that I'll never know...

I saw 2 RFEs in my case wandering, but I did see some field office people didn't get them online.

Blarg.

My step dad is a giant lazy bum that does nothing all day.

You'd think the least he could do is put my mail in a pile.

This Christmas, I was given a bill from February.
