Guys, feel like, MSC is still reeling from the after effects of the New Year Celebrations. Around X-Mas time lots of cases(OCT & NOV) just flew threw NOA2 approvals and now suddenly everything is dead.... don't see as many approvals at all....FRUSTRATING....Not sure if you all share the same feeling...:-)

Actually going through the cases, it looked like they were processing a lot of AOS I-485/I-130 cases. Many of them from my priority date got letters for appoints with sent dates from a little before Christmas on to yesterday. I think it was said that they sometimes focus on one type of case and then switch to another. I don't know how true that is though.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Well I'm just grateful that they're not like Australia where a lot of businesses were still closed up until the 7th of January! I love my country though, I'm going to miss all of the extra public holidays we have!

United states has fewest holidays. You'll find out once you're here. :bonk:

I've decided that I'm going to import some Aussie ones in and celebrate them anyway...although it may be hard to celebrate Australia day in the traditional way...a bit chilly to bbq and go to the beach anywhere in the states during January!!

Actually in America you can celebrate any holidays, anyway you like, and people are most accepting. The only problem is America has by far less days off work than other countries. And compare to a lot of countries in Europe, America has longer working hours. :dead:

Oh yes, I know that they're really accepting. I will miss those extra days off work...and 4 weeks paid annual leave each year. Sigh...do I really want to leave Australia? My husband is lucky I love him so much!!

My husband is already quite fearful of this. It seems like here in Denmark, he has more holiday than he knows what to do with.

I like to find obscure holidays to celebrate...like October 18th is national cupcake day! Food holidays can be the best holidays!

I like small holidays too. Some years instead of Christmas cards we send out Halloween cards or St. Patrick's Day. I'm half tempted to send out Presidents' Day cards this year, but I have a strange feeling that people will be sure I'm crazy then.

Ooooh, I like that Idea. I'm terrible at sending out Christmas cards but my husband and I are a little quirky so we may steal your idea of sending out different holiday cards! Don't worry about people knowing that you're crazy...embrace it, that's what I do!
