Because I obviously suffer from some sort of weird OCD math and data problem: of the 1200 applications I have gone through so far (and I probably miss some when I try and jump over the tons of other types of applications) for November 7th and November 8th, there are 146 straight non-AOS I-130s I have stumbled over. Of these there is 1 reaffirmed case and 13 approved cases. Of the 13 approved, 10 were approved between December 17-20. The other 3 were approved on January 2 and 3.

That is roughly 10% approved. Speedwell, from the October Filers says that only about 20% of those on October 18th were approved. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/393681-october-2012-i-130-filers/page__view__findpost__p__5912306

Thanks to Nola123, Darnell, Grace2013, MeredythB!! I am hoping and praying for all of us! This holding pattern is a struggle for everyone.

Darnell...no cooking on the menu, but as soon as I got the email I chilled a couple of glasses in the freezer and went out to grab some heinekens. I will save the shrimp/lobster feast for some Rio restaurant right before the interview :) that is if there is any money left after this process.

So, basically, 11% of filers from november 7-8th have been approved?

Damn, why so many people getting married.

And I think that is only a fraction of how many incoming there are. I think Americans are just fond of foreign spouses. So many of my friends growing up had a foreign parent and every family on my street in CT has an adult child married to a foreigner. My husband went to my daughter's soccer practice (as much as little kids can do such a thing) and came to the conclusion that people in our town had a foreigner fetish, because so many children had one British or Irish parent there with them. Heck, even I have a British parent.

Yet among all the people my husband knows in Denmark, he is the only one married to a foreigner.

Americans Love Foreigners :goofy:

June should be the most popular wedding month. I just wonder why so many files after October.

What makes me a little sad is that my husband and I mailed our application at the start of October and it took Australia Post 1 day to get it to Los Angeles and then USPS took 30 days to get it from Los Angeles to Chicago...so we're now a month behind where we could've been!!

We had a similar problem. USPS holds the things in customs, even Express mail. In the future we are only shipping via a private carrier as they have separate customs terminals.

Guys, feel like, MSC is still reeling from the after effects of the New Year Celebrations. Around X-Mas time lots of cases(OCT & NOV) just flew threw NOA2 approvals and now suddenly everything is dead.... don't see as many approvals at all....FRUSTRATING....Not sure if you all share the same feeling...:-)

Well I'm just grateful that they're not like Australia where a lot of businesses were still closed up until the 7th of January! I love my country though, I'm going to miss all of the extra public holidays we have!
