Well this has happened to me several times...first off I would not get mad...ignore it probably but if they were really saying something hurtful or totally false I would set the record straight and ask them why they would say such a terrible thing...

I realise some people just like to stir drama... and some people are just ignorant and donnot know any better... but there are times and situation where we should stand up... so i guess it depends on what was said.
