I have past the 5 months too.... So disappointed. When i first joined VJ CSC was going so fast and i thought it would take like 3/4 months... Well i guess it is coming up.

I am also really mad at obama and that dream act thing which i believe is responsible for our delay... The lesson? Come illegally you ll get papers faster!

Sad country... I guess i won't criticize republicans anymore...

i REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY WILL WAIT FOR EACH AND EVERYONE OF US TO PUT IN A SERVICE REQUEST TO APPROVE US --- MINE WILL BE FIVE MONTH FEBRUARY 6TH BUT I CAN SEE MYSELF ALL THE WAY TO MARCH OR EVEN APRIL WHO KNOWS -- I WOULD FEEL BETTER IF I WAS SEEING MORE AUGUST APPROVAL BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THEY HAVE ONLY APPROVED 2 PEOPLE HERE AT VJ FOR AUGUST ---

LETS HOPE AND PRAY-- AT LEAST AM PLANNING A TRIP IN MARCH TO SEE MY FIANCEE -- THAT WILL MAKE ME FEEL A LITTLE BETTER -- AND FOCUS LESS ON THESE PEOPLE WHO SPEND THE WHOLE DAY DAYDREAMING INSTEAD OF WORKING--- IF THEY WERE GETTING A DAILY MINIMUM APPROVALS AND WEEKLY AUDITS I CAN BET YOU THEY WOULD WORK MORE SERIOUSLY BUT ITS THE GOVERNMENT AND DO NOT CARE MUCH

That means they can't put in a service request for you because you are still within the normal processing time... i know in the website it says 5 months and you have to wait for the whole 5 months to pass and then on your 6th month you can call them again or do it again online and see if they will allow you this time... i guess for you that would be on Feb. 10...

Thank you dear, I called them yesterday and they told me that they have sent me a letter saying my expedite was rejected and the reason it didn't match their expedite criteria and have to wait another 30 days then call back. They are still working on July 17 which is funny because I checked on VJ and they said the same thing on December too. I'm so heart broken and sad now. :(

Hi everyone,

We are CSC-filers...August 6th NOA1, and trust me, y'all. We are counting the moments here, and actually need to stop doing that.

The fact of the matter is that, while we couldn't have known it at the time and filed when we did, we just ended up really unlucky in terms of the time of the year to file.

Had we all applied a month or two earlier, it would have been done faster. Most of us are approaching 6 months here, which is a month over the original 5 month deadline that CSC was operating with.

There's talk of them working on other visa applications, which is most certainly true, but we also got hit with Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's etc.

Any experienced person on the site will tell you "your time is coming...hang tight." And at the end of the day, that message has to ring true with us all.

It's really slower than sh*t at the moment and it really stinks for us all, but I"m really hoping here that in the next few weeks, CSC gets crackin' on the August apps.

My own personal prediction is that once they do, they are going to be poppin' them out like mad just to get them done...hopefully, it's not just wishful thinking on my part.

Be strong, everyone...

processing time for CSC has changed to 7.2 months.....thats why you are being told that ur request is being rejected cause your still within the new processing time......least that is what my lawyer told me and he told me no point in requesting one till then, they will just reject you and getting a senator involved is not an option yet either cuz we are still in the "new" 7.2 month processing time.....i'm a august 6th filer..........but there is hope....in addition to the 3 people that are august filers that have been processed and shown in igor's list.....someone from facebook, who is not a member on this site, emailed me and told me they just got approved NOA2 and their file date was august 8 ..........so that's 4 people now.....our time is coming soon
