I was trying to view my timeline expectation on here and I found this message "There are not enough recent approvals in the timeline system to accurately approximate when your I-130 will be approved. Please see the Timeline Stats page to see recent approvals." So what we are seeing about members who got their approval so early is just very few quantity and the majority still waiting exactly like us even if they submitted their I-130 earlier!!!

Does anyone have any idea about what is going on??????

Most people are waiting 5-6 months for the I-130 to be approved. If you see timelines that have an earlier approval date, it's more than likely because they were living abroad when they filed the petition. I filed abroad and got approved in 18 days...some abroad USC's get approved after only 2 weeks...some may take a month to a month and a half. BUT, the average time is 5-6 months for those filing from America. The people I know personally that have filed the petition this year, and are living in the United States, received their NOA2 after 6 months.

Because you are living in Egypt, I would think you'd get approved after a month to a month and a half max. However, I'm sure there are always circumstances where some don't get the auto-expedite for some reason...or perhaps the USCIS offices are backed up at the moment. Did you only file a month ago? If so, it is still very early...as most are waiting over 5 months. Hope this info helps. And keep checking the USCIS website for updates to your case. And look at the I-130 you submitted if you saved a copy, to verify that you did use your Egyptian address!
