First of all look to see if your case will be transferred to CSC. If so, odds are that you won't have an interview(because of arriving with a K1 visa). Takes approx a month after biometrics app(it took 2 weeks for me). For a case to get transferred. If it's being transferred to local office, you might want to look into the timelines on VJ or processing time.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

How can you see if your case will be transferred? My hubby had his biometrics over a month ago and we have not received anything yet.

We just got our Biometrics done today can anyone tell me what the wait time will be for the interview ??

In our case, we were not transferred to another service center, it looks like about 6-7 weeks from the biometrics appointment to the upcoming AOS interview here in Seattle. (Check our signature block.)

You may not have an interview. The speediness of the biometrics, done by local offices, has absolutely -0- to do with the completion of the process done by the Service Centers. Transfers to another Service Center do NOT mean there will be no interview, many cases that get transferred still have an interview, nor does it mean it will be processed faster...though that is the intent.

So the short answer is "NO" no one can tell you how long until the interview (or if there will be an interview)
