We will just wait....very frustrating though to check the mailbox daily and find nothing.

I'm having the exact opposite problem, I got the Biometrics letter, but I'm still waiting for my NoA. The website says the generic 'we received your package and sent a letter', but no letter yet :\

Updated NOA1 date. I also have few questions. I have a vacation coming up from 12/18/12 to 01/05/13. As shown below I received my NOA1 on 11/21/12.

1)When can I expect my Bio-metrics appointment?

2)What happens if I get my bio-metrics appointment when I am overseas?

3)Is there a way to postpone or prepone the Bio appointment?

4)Can anyone explain me what Early Bio means and how to get that..

5)Does the NOA1 document contain the case number? I read somewhere that you can walk-in for a bio if you have a case number?

I have a seen a similar question on the previous page. Any information is appreciated. Thanks and good luck to all applicants.

You can contact them if it's been 30 days but some offices are just slow so if that is the case it won't speed things up (can't hurt though). We got ours quickly this time but with AOS it took almost 3 months.

10.15.2010 - RFE received: need 2 additional photos for AP.
10.18.2010 - RFE response sent certified mail
10.21.2010 - Service request placed for biometrics
10.25.2010 - RFE received per USCIS
10.26.2010 - Text/email received - AP approved!
10.28.2010 - Biometrics appointment received, dated 10/22 - set for 11/19 @ 3:00 PM
11.01.2010 - Successful biometrics walk-in @ 9:45 AM; EAD card sent for production text/email @ 2:47 PM! I-485 case status now available online.
11.04.2010 - Text/Email (2nd) - EAD card sent for production
11.08.2010 - Text/Email (3rd) - EAD approved
11.10.2010 - EAD received
12.11.2010 - Interview letter received - 01.13.11
01.13.2011 - Interview - no decision on the spot
01.24.2011 - Approved! Card production ordered!

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

11.02.2012 - Mailed I-751 packet to VSC
11.08.2012 - Checks cashed
11.10.2012 - NOA1 received, dated 11.06.2012
11.17.2012 - Biometrics letter received for 12.05.2012
11.23.2012 - Successful early biometrics walk-in

Updated NOA1 date. I also have few questions. I have a vacation coming up from 12/18/12 to 01/05/13. As shown below I received my NOA1 on 11/21/12.

1)When can I expect my Bio-metrics appointment?

2)What happens if I get my bio-metrics appointment when I am overseas?

3)Is there a way to postpone or prepone the Bio appointment?

4)Can anyone explain me what Early Bio means and how to get that..

5)Does the NOA1 document contain the case number? I read somewhere that you can walk-in for a bio if you have a case number?

I have a seen a similar question on the previous page. Any information is appreciated. Thanks and good luck to all applicants.

Your biometric paper should come soon, really soon. If your biometric appointment is in the period of your vacation, just go to your local USCIS office and ask them i you could take the biometrics before the printed date which is the day you walk in there. If they said no, reschedule it. Take your plan ticket so you can show them you are really traveling. The case number in the NOA1 is not the real case number you need. The real one is the one in your biometrics letter. That's the one you want to use. Good luck

Thanks all for the replies especially 'silkafi88'. I have my bio scheduled in ASC Elizabeth, NJ. Heard lot of denial stories for early bio in this center from all over the interwebs including VJ. I live very close to Philly, ASC and this place is known to be historically friendly for early bio's. I will go there on 14th to try my luck. I even found a story( don't remember where) of a couple who got denied for early bio in Elizabeth and drove all the way to philly and got the bio done on the same day. Will it be a problem if I go to a ASC not mentioned in the BIo letter? Wish me good luck guys. And I wish good luck to all of you.
