Yeah I have that for a backup plan the hotel

Everything went well with the biometrics in St Louis, was able to get my wife's done yesterday instead of today, was even surprised that when we got there only one person was in line first so 10 minutes we were on our way home.

I just received an email saying my CRI-89 was approved? Is it the same thing as I-751? I filled with VSC last November?

I had my biometrics appt on 11/30 and everything went fine.

I just tried checking my case status online and it says my receipt number is not recognized. So I called USCIS and I get the same thing over the phone in the automated system AND with the representative. They instructed me to call in 2 days (45 days after filing) to check again and if not they'll put me through "somebody else that can help". How normal/bad is this?

So this is what I figured out.

I have to use the WAC number on my biometrics notice and not the one on my NOA1? They are different and I've read somewhere on the forum that other people have noticed this too. Using that number I can check my status case fine online or on the automated system over the phone. This is what the site says:

"On November 6, 2012, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

I guess I'm fine then?

The WAC is just a payment receipt and not traceable. The number you get for your BIO is. If you have a current BIO inside 15 months you will not get a new BIO for ROC.

After seeing some of the ROC application dates to Bio dates... Is it taking only a month to get the interview? Are you getting told there and then if approved or do they mail you? I have my ROC date firmly on the calendar to apply on May 31st 2013....

No. Biometrics appointments are just that - biometrics. They take the applicant's fingerprints. Nothing to do with approvals or interviews.

No. Biometrics appointments are just that - biometrics. They take the applicant's fingerprints. Nothing to do with approvals or interviews.

Had nothing better to do this morning than look at May 2012 filers, they are getting the ROC completed in about 7 months. If this was a horse race California is winning. Good Luck and Merry Christmas to all.

Are they stil touching the accounts when they do biometrics? I just checked, and my husband's # hasn't been touched since the day his appointment letter was sent, even though he had his biometrics almost a month ago.
