okay this is it.. i received email from NVC and confused of what is this mean..can someone help me.i sent all required documents with the cover code each package, is this RFE or something?

That's the false checklist! It's a good indication your AOS was reviewed and accepted! Call up to confirm!

Just got an email from NVC, my interview date is Jan 15, 2013 07:30am.

Below is the snippet from the letter

The National Visa Center (NVC) has completed its processing of XXXXXXXXX's petition, case number BMBXXXXXXXXXX;

and forwarded it to the American Embassy/Consulate in MUMBAI (BOMBAY).

An immigrant visa interview has been scheduled for the applicant at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in

MUMBAI (BOMBAY) on January 15, 2013 at 07:30 am.

I have a question, during the interview do I need to tell or show visa officer where I'm working. currently I'm working in India but plan is after I get visa quit the job and join my spouse in USA.

11/08/2012: Beneficiary emailed Signed/Scanned copy of DS-3032

11/13/2012: AOS Bill Status Changed to PAID

11/13/2012: Sent AOS Package

11/15/2012: NVC Received AOS Packet

11/20/2012: Beneficiary received email from NVC that DS-3032 is accepted

11/21/2012: Received email from NVC about IV Invoice

11/21/2012: Paid IV Fee (Status: InProcess)

11/23/2012: Sent IV Package

11/27/2012: NVC Received IV Packet

11/29/2012: NVC Accepted AOS

Well, the officer obviously knows you're going to quit your job to move to the US. That's the whole point of the visa! And they have the information of where you're working from the DS-230. If they have a question about it, they'll ask.
