NVC Filers - November 2012

hi all,

my case was approved from USCIS on 8th Nov 2012 but have not heard anything from NVC yet. my husband called them to check, the lady said they still have not got the papers there....we planning to send them a mail now on Monday as they might not be working before 26th Nov 2012. Can anyone tell me looking at this situation how soon i can expect their reply and NVC process to start.

Typically, it takes a week to enter into NVC system. Looks like they have to manually enter. Best option is keep calling them everyday. Don't worry, meanwhile make yourself ready with all documents required for AOS and DS-230.

call NVC everyday, it takes 12 days for my package to reach NVC from USCIS.i got approved Nov 06,2012.good luck

here's something I wrote about almost 3 years ago:

basically, I gleaned that there are queues for each and every step in the NVC document intake process.

There's also MOVEMENT between queues, as well.

So, when you have movement out of ONE of the queues, yer placed at the end of the next queue, for the next thing.

Please try to understand WHICH queue yer in, for each time you wish to figure out 'where you are', in the NVC intake process.

Just got a email from NVC, checked the payment portal and vuala, the IV bill invoiced, and paid, now I just need to wait for the $$ to be taken out of my checking account and my IV pack will be on its way.

I wanna check if AOS is already invoiced but when I signed in in the payment portal this message shows...You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information.

Should I call NVC or just wait? Is this a normal thing?

That's a normal thing, and covered in post #2 .

I didn't follow the whole post, read the comment on the link anchored but it didn't really explicitly mention the different queues.

However, I am assuming I am now in a process of payment verification on their part. I'm ready to send the IV package as soon as I see the $$ taken out of my account.
