Grats on getting your case number! kicking.gif

The AOS will more than likely not be invoiced yet, especially if your case number was just assigned today. Keep an eye on the payment portal though and as soon as it's invoiced, pay it! No need to wait for NVC to tell you you can pay it.

Saylin.. what do these words mean that were just sent from NVC?:

"You will be notified when an interview has been set. Do not contact

post regarding your interview date until you have been notified."

MAYBE we'll be back from Moscow in December before New Years

Did the email say anything about receiving all necessary documentation? (Please post the entire email, not just one line). But, imo, it sounds like a case complete. I'd say call up NVC to confirm, but they're closed now.

NVC got my revised I-864 today for line 25 but as you see they did give me a "ding" for my printed name on Line 30. No other issues on it other than I hand wrote my name in rather than type written and the Middle name I made an Initial (same as I normally make my signature). Minor but they do expect me to bring a new I-864 to the Interview. I'll call NVC on Tuesday to confirm. They will be swamped on Monday and probably not going to hear from the Embassy in Moscow on our Apppointment that soon anyway.

Here's what the Checklist said..

Checklist for I-864 (filed by XXXXXX, XXXXXX XXX )

The NVC has reviewed the financial evidence submitted. However, additional information is

required to complete the financial evidence review. Please provide all requested documents and

refer to page two for mailing instructions.

Forms Missing or Incomplete

[x] If you provided a new form to us, these are the items that are still incorrect or missing. Please complete a new

form and forward it to the principal applicant so that it may be presented at their final interview. If you need

another form, please visit http://travle.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3197.html to download a new form

and complete instructions.

Part 8 Sponsor's Contract

[x] On line 30, the ( sponsor) has not correctly entered his/her own name in the blank, "I,

_____XXXXXX______________________________ certify…".

You'll probably need the petitioner to send the email, on their behalf. Make sure their ages are mentioned in the email, so NVC realises how young they are.

I dont think it is quite necessary to wait for Bill to be PAID. You can send the packet since you already have the Bar-coded cover sheet.

I suggest waiting until the bill clears and says PAID, to avoid any possible delays.

saylin -

quick question.

yesterday my wife got reply from NVC to the DS-3032. It also contains following

"We received the Affidavit of Support Processing Fee payment(s) for this

case. You must now download and complete the Affidavit of Support

form(s). Please visit the following website to download the appropriate

Affidavit of Support form(s) and instructions:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3197.html"

We already sent the AOS packet. Looks like they haven't reviewed it but looks

like they saw it is been PAID.

Yeah, just another false checklist, probably due to them accepting your DS-3032.
