I started checking the site every couple of hours after I got my IIN.

But I received the emails for AOS and DS3032, and minutes after i was able to see the AOS bill invoice on the portal.

hi i sent the email for choice of agent (email template) at 2am my time and when i woke up at 7am i saw 2 emails from nvc (one regarding the case number and iin number) and the other one is the invoice for aos. oh and i also got the auto reply for d3032. anyway atleast i have it already but we called this morning for some changes good thing theyre still open. coz my address has one minor typo and we change my husband's address in the states. anyway thank you and God bless :)

Since you started 'this testing' in January, do note that you'll need another medical, a real medical exam by a panel physican, before the interview date.

If you think the 'january stuff' counts on the medical - you'll find that it'll age out for official purposes, and you'll need another one.

Seriously, wait till you have the appointment letter in hand before going out for the medical- it's still at least 1 month out, for you.

wait i think we're having a miscommunication here. haha im not sure :P well i started my medication last january coz of that xray in a diff hospital. i mean we haven't started the process yet. (and we're not married yet at that time) when i found out about the xray. so its not in st lukes. so i was done with medication last july. i know i will have a medical exam in st lukes and they might require me sputum culture thats why i want to start that process now coz it will take 2 months for the result. anyway what im saying is, im done with the medication. i know im well. it's the 2 month waiting for culture im worried about thats why i want to start the medical early. thats it. :P but let's see. might do my medical exam after we sent the packets. i just cannot wait for them to schedule my interview before i do the medical exam :)

Two passport-stile pictures are needed of the beneficiary with the IV package. And yes, write their full name, date of birth, and case number on the back. Please refer to posts 1 and 2.

AOS package is similar to the IV package. You need to wait for the bill to be invoiced, pay it, then send the package.

hi saylin! i sent the choice of agent email to nvc at 2am my time and got the auto reply email for it. then when i checked just after 5 hours of sending it, nvc sent 2 emails. first one is about the case number and inn (i think this is the email for the medical.) the one with "the immigrant visa petition recently filed on your behalf is now eligible for further processing"thats the email then another one is where i was on the cc (originally email for my husband) the invoice for aos.

its good we already paid the aos fee. but my question is, in those 2emails they included the choice of agent form. should i just ignore those forms since i already sent the email (with email template from vjwiki) and another i noticed that in my address in those emails, it didnt have the name of our village (i think its not a big deal since its also the same just the no village name but it has the street name and number and city) but then i just saw that after i emailed choice of agent. in that choice of agent i included the name of the village. will it matter if in choice of agent email it has it and then what they have in their records (based from the letters they sent this morning it didnt have the village name) just confused that it might affect or send us rfe cause of that. should i call again and include the village name on their records? or it will automatically change since thats what i stated in choice of agent. just the name of the village. for example "wiki village"thats it. but all the town names and street numbers are good. thanks saylin God bless you more! :)

Q32 is List below all employment in the last 10 years.

But below that question you will see this question

In what occupation do you intend to work in the United States? _____________________________

Oh ok, ... phew ... reliefe ... I had tunnel vision and didnt focus on the bottom part of the question... I guess all you can do is be honest.

I want my wife to go to school, so I just put Student.

For the other question, if you put yes then the card will be mailed to you without having to go to the Social Security Agency (I put yes, no need to wait in lines). Although i recently read here on the forum of someone who put yes and never received it so they had to go to the SSA office anyway.

Saylin -

quick question.

I'm little confused about "Instruction packet"? Does NVC send it after IV fee is "PAID"?

I just paid IV fees, per my knowledge all we need to do is download DS-230 part I and II

fill it up and ship it to NVC.

Instruction package is the package that NVC sends with instructions on the IV package. It's typically sent after the IV bill is paid, but don't depend on it as it may take awhile to receive. You don't need this instruction package to fill out the DS-230 or anything.

i just received emails from NVC this morning with all informations and also they want me ( beneficiary ) declaring for choice of agent...so i sent my Choice of Agent with the used of the VJ template to NVC and i received AUTO RESPONSE from NVC

what is this mean ,they do not accept DS-3032?

please help me im getting worried now

Like Darnell said, that's just the auto-response. As the name applies, it's an automatic response due to the email you sent. It's not an acceptance, it's not a rejection.

hi saylin! i sent the choice of agent email to nvc at 2am my time and got the auto reply email for it. then when i checked just after 5 hours of sending it, nvc sent 2 emails. first one is about the case number and inn (i think this is the email for the medical.) the one with "the immigrant visa petition recently filed on your behalf is now eligible for further processing"thats the email then another one is where i was on the cc (originally email for my husband) the invoice for aos.

its good we already paid the aos fee. but my question is, in those 2emails they included the choice of agent form. should i just ignore those forms since i already sent the email (with email template from vjwiki) and another i noticed that in my address in those emails, it didnt have the name of our village (i think its not a big deal since its also the same just the no village name but it has the street name and number and city) but then i just saw that after i emailed choice of agent. in that choice of agent i included the name of the village. will it matter if in choice of agent email it has it and then what they have in their records (based from the letters they sent this morning it didnt have the village name) just confused that it might affect or send us rfe cause of that. should i call again and include the village name on their records? or it will automatically change since thats what i stated in choice of agent. just the name of the village. for example "wiki village"thats it. but all the town names and street numbers are good. thanks saylin God bless you more! :)

The two emails you received were sent independently of the DS-3032 email you sent. They were in ZERO connection with your DS-3032 email. Please re-read post 2 again as I've written a question/answer about this.

And I don't know about the village thing. You may want to call NVC and inquire.

Question on DS-230 form

Question 32. In what occupation do you intend to work in the United States? _____________________________

Question 43b. Do you want the SSA assign you a SSN and issue a card? (You must answer YES to question 43b. to receive a number

and a card) _____________

On question 32, since my spouse is going to join me from India, can we write "No plans as of yet"

On question 43b. I thought after my spouse come to US, we have to go to SSN office and apply for SSN.

Appreciate your advice.

For 32, just write "undecided".

For the SSN questions, you can write no if you wish and then go into the SSA office and apply in person. Some people do write yes on that question, but the SSN card never comes, so they have to apply at an office anyways. This happened to me. I marked off yes for a card to be sent to me, but it was never sent after 3 weeks. So, I applied in person and got my card in the mail 10 days later :)

Hello everyone! I called NVC and finally got the case number and IIN. Choice of agent was emailed by my wife to NVC just a while ago. Can I go ahead and pay the AOS or should I wait for the NVC Fee bill from NVC?

Please help. Thanks

Grats on getting your case number! kicking.gif

The AOS will more than likely not be invoiced yet, especially if your case number was just assigned today. Keep an eye on the payment portal though and as soon as it's invoiced, pay it! No need to wait for NVC to tell you you can pay it.

:help:im worried now, we still cannot locate the bar-code cover sheet.i followed the instruction you gave..we log in portal payment again and there is no I-864 bill to click and no " Print Cover Sheet " to click...is this mean we have to call NVC for the bar-code, and also is the bar-code come out when the payment is turn to " PAID'?
