oh okay! so it means that that procedure is for k-applicants? So with ir1/cr1 applicants the nvc will sched the interview? do I have to inform nvc that i will do my medical exam ahead of time instead of waiting for their sched interview?

Yup. For IR-1/CR-1s, interviews are scheduled by NVC. And no more fees after NVC (and the medical). There may be a courier fee, but that's it. For K1s thought, they have an interview fee to pay.

And nope, NVC doesn't care whatsoever when you do your medical. That's all on you, not them.

I had a good giggle reading the posts about the guys fretting waiting for the DS3032 acceptance because that was soooo me not so long ago. It took just over 2weeks for ours to be accepted, like one of the other members said, easier said than done but hold on until that 2week mark and then give another day or two and I'm sure you'll have some progress

Hurry up and wait really is the name of this game

Going for a week and a bit since my case was closed at NVC but still no interview date  There arent many CR1 applicants from SA so I cant accurately gage how long it took for them to get their dates after case closed. How long do you guys think I should wait before the proverbial "freaking out"
