come on I need a case complete!

I have quick question. Once case complete interview is assigned by country based on priority date right?? or is it just random by country?

Nope, priority date means NOTHING with IR-1/CR-1 visas. With our type of visas, there are an UNLIMITED number per year. But with other visas (such as with LPRs petitioning for relatives), there are a LIMITED number of visas per year, thus a priority date means something.

For us though, an interview date is assigned by where you are in the queue. Once your case is complete, you're put in the interview queue. Simple as that. So, someone with a case complete in X country on 10/10 will get an interview date assigned before someone else from the same country with a CC date of 11/23. This obviously excludes those that get expedited, who essentially jump the line.

Nothing immigration-related has happened lately to me :P But, I'll be filing for ROC in a few months (I'm eligible to apply Feb. 11 I believe), so there will be a bunch of updates then :)

Not having the same amounts on the question about income earned and on the tax information you include (it has to be EXACT, right down to the penny). Not having everything filled out/signed. Not making enough income. Not including everything required.

Just curious, I know it's optional to submit the 2 previous tax returns prior to most recent.

In lieu of doing that, but still proving you made enough, can you include copies of your w2s?

Just wondering since I've seen people say they never got their requested tax transcripts and the IRS changed my 2010 return so I don't have a copy of what was actually filed with them.

If you don't have the tax transcripts (which are highly recommended, by the way, NVC prefers them), then you'll have to send copies of your tax return (1040) as well as all W2s as well as all schedules. You can't just send the W2s. You'll get a checklist if you don't send the 1040 and schedules along with them. Since you just filed the I-130 petition, you have about 5-6 months before the I-864 will be needed, so get the tax transcripts NOW. That way, in case some delays occur, you have plenty of time. When my husband ordered them, he had absolutely no problems and they arrived within a week.

Well I haven't filed 2012 yet (obviously) so if I don't get that transcript in time (heaven forbit) then I need to send my w2, copy of the 1040ez that i filed, and what is a schedule?

Here's to hoping the rest arrive with no issues.

I will be sending out the other requests soon.

Depending when you get to NVC, 2012 tax information might not be required. It'll only be required after the tax deadline (April 15, 2013). And if you don't have enough time for whatever reason to get the 2012 tax transcript, you can just bring it to the interview. But yeah, you'll have to send the W2s, 1040, and schedules to NVC if you don't have the tax transcript.

There's different schedules: A, B, C, D, E, etc. for various things.

I still have no idea what schedules are.

Are these directly related to NVC paperwork?

If so, I assume I will understand in time.

No, schedules are part of tax forms.
