Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, December 12th at 8:15. I think I'm in shock. I don't feel anything right now. I can't believe it!

Cjjj - hahaha im sure ur dancing now...Congrats

Saylin- my hubby called NVC this morning to sort the police clearance issue, the operator put him on hold and double checked the police requirements for Fiji then confirmed that we were right...She said that things keep changing and sometimes they overlook small changes....so case closed according to her and she said she will speak to her supervisor and there is no time frame but within 3 weeks most likely we will know the interview date....

Just a more question about emailing the DS-3032!! What should I put in the email subject??? :)

Subject Line = "Uncle Darnell says Chris refuses to read the wiki page completely"

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I'm pretty sure they work till midnight as I've seen people get interviews assigned late at night.

Yes!

Saylin, my attorney did not send in my naturalization so I just found out going thru my papers. Is my husband suppose to have it original in hand at the interview? It doesn't specify on the email the NVC sent out last night. But it says to bring all originals that I was suppose to have to the interview if not submitted to NVC and neither does it say anything about the petitioner on the embassy's website. Should I mail it to him?

I'm too stupid to figure out the tracking to the consulate. Can someone explain it to me again? The way described on VJ does not seem to work for me. No matter what dates I type in the DHL tracker, no results come up at all for any country.

It hasn't worked for me today either; I don't know why. But before - all was fine.

This is how I learned it:

Line 1: EXP 05 NOV2012A (I always do space before and after the number; everything else stays together. You pick this date - it can be anything from last few days)

Line 2: the date HAS to be the same as in Line 1

Line 3: always current/today's date

Line 4: leave empty

Line 5: put Germany or leave empty (sometimes when you leave empty, it will show you many packages but not from Germany; then when you check just for Germany, you will see a package - I have no idea why .....)

Glad you got it sorted out. I suggest calling NVC tomorrow and confirm your case has been closed. Just to be sure.

ahhhhhhhh my hubbys interview is on dec 12 also!!! just got the email 3 hours ago......from noa1-interview=4.5 months....feeling blessed! sending my good vibes out to everyone else!!

Grats! kicking.gif

I sent the DS-3032.. WHAT'S NEXT???

Time to prepare both packages :) And keep an eye on the payment portal!

The petitioner's naturalization certificate isn't needed at NVC. And it's not needed at the interview, although it'd still be a good idea to have a copy on hand, just in case.

I'm too stupid to figure out the tracking to the consulate. Can someone explain it to me again? The way described on VJ does not seem to work for me. No matter what dates I type in the DHL tracker, no results come up at all for any country.

Since your interview was just scheduled, you need to give it a few days. Plus, you can't track until you know the date that NVC sends out your case (typically the day after an interview date is scheduled, but again, you need to call NVC to find out).

I called NVC just now. I got NVC# and IIN. They told me to keep calling (since they just updated the system) to update email addresses of both petitioner and beneficiary.

BMB is for Bombay, not Mumbai.

Grats by the way on getting your number :)

Same day as ours. I called yesterday, but was too busy to today. I will call again tomorrow. At least yesterday, I got a nice person on the phone. When I asked for my case status, she said that they were waiting on the DS-230. I told her that they have had it since the 25th, and then I got the canned response of it takes up to 20 days, blah, blah, blah... We were hoping for a December interview, but it is looking slimmer. Our kids are already living in the U.S. and my husband was hoping to join us for Christmas.

Touch wood, I have always gotten someone nice when calling NVC. I'll call today too. God willing both of us will get some good news :)
