Do the people assigning interviews work 9-5 or do they also work until midnight? Just wondering so I can plan when it makes sense to call.

I'm pretty sure they work till midnight as I've seen people get interviews assigned late at night.

Should I sent the DS-3032 now??? :D:dance:

Yes!

Just a more question about emailing the DS-3032!! What should I put in the email subject??? :)

Follow the wiki exactly. Read it again as the answer is there.

NVC have reviewed ur AOS and accepted it so they now want IV documents....this email is a good indication that there is no RFE on ur AOS...so its a good news...

ok la - this is the official 'false checklist' email. If it had been a 'real' checklist, it would have had a list of specific documents inside of it to submit.

Ya get one of these when you have a 'thing' get added to the casefile. Since this is asking about the IV document set, I must assume yer AOS document set was recently added.

Pay this email no mind, except as one stupid thing that should be changed at NVC.

Good Luck !

First off, this is the right place to post ;) Every month, we migrate over to the current month, even if you arrived at NVC in a previous month. It's to make sure there's not a bunch of active NVC threads!

To answer your question, what you received is a false checklist. It happens when NVC reviews a package (in case your AOS), and then requests for the other package. So, nothing to worry about whatsoever :) It's not technically an approval of a package, but it's a great indication. Make sure you call up NVC to confirm your AOS package has been approved.

And no need to include the barcode from that checklist. It's the same as the one from the payment portal.

Thank you guys!

If you got a checklist for something, NVC will not complete your case until they get what they've asked for. Or you request to bring it to the interview and they accept that request. Until then, your case is at a standstill.

Saylin,In Fiji police report goes direct to the consulate...i went in they took my finger prints and all details and now they will send to US Embassy in Fiji which means i cant take it to interview myself....but yeah maybe we shud send them an email and let them know huh....

Yes, contact NVC immediately. It's probably a very high chance they know nothing of what you did (or even the requirements of Fiji).

Same day as ours. I called yesterday, but was too busy to today. I will call again tomorrow. At least yesterday, I got a nice person on the phone. When I asked for my case status, she said that they were waiting on the DS-230. I told her that they have had it since the 25th, and then I got the canned response of it takes up to 20 days, blah, blah, blah... We were hoping for a December interview, but it is looking slimmer. Our kids are already living in the U.S. and my husband was hoping to join us for Christmas.
