B2 visa under AP

Hello Vjs members

My father s b2 visa has been put under AP since February 15,2012 almost 9 months.

They went together Mom and Dad to the interview, my mom had 10 years b2 visa and they told my dad that his visa is accepted but they have to do some investigations I m wondering how long these will take and if anybody know a number to call and ask about my father s case I really need them to come see me

The unfortunate thing about AP if that there's really no way of knowing how long it will take.

AP isn't "one thing", but rather a broad term that can really contain any number of investigations they may be doing.
