so i used the locator on the USCIS site and i am not finding one close to my house - i live suburb houston and now i have to go to houston to find one.

any recommandations from the houston area VJ members? if any? !

Day 11/14 Mailed AOS Package

Day 11/16 AOS Package Accepted

Day 11/20 Received Text with receipt numbers

Day 11/21 Checks cashed

Day 11/26 -Letter for Biometrix - its on 12/20

Day 12/20/ went to do biometrics, turn away as wife has a cut on thumb - will try to walk in next week

Day 12/28 - bio metrics done ! - walked in San Diego as we were visiting my in laws.

Day 1/4/2013 - received text/email that case is ready to be scheduled for interview !

Day 1/15/2013 - received hard copy letter to let us know interview is on 2/12 !

Day 1/17/2013 - received text/email that EAD has been approved

Day 1/26/2013 - received EAD card

Day 2/12 - interview done - approved on spot!

As I'm sure you've seen, Houston's suburbs sprawl for miles and miles. Saying you live in the suburbs is far too vague to be able to help. Which zip code are you in?

I will be needing a civil surgeon in a months or so, and I'd already had a quick look at the locator. They're not all downtown, even if there isn't one in every area.

I will be needing a civil surgeon in a months or so, and I'd already had a quick look at the locator. They're not all downtown, even if there isn't one in every area.

i live near Katy, 77407 - no not all in downtown. What i did i tried to pick the closest and see some reviews online and the ones i saw didn't look promising. I am afraid that i will be overcharged or taken advantage off as my wife doesn't have documentation of her vacinations and such. I just wanted to see if there's anyone on here that lives in teh area that already did teh medical and recommands the dr they visited.

I'm in Cypress, so I guess I mightend up using the same civil surgeon. Though I can't really help at the moment, beyond the things you've found already. Where are you finding the reviews? On here or elsewhere?

I just type in the name of the dr in google and see if there are any reviews on that particular location...at this point i think i am just going to have to pick one as i need to get my aso packet mailed next week
