I am really not following your analogy.

I'm not surprised after reading " Redistribution of income has been going on for many years now and has got nothing to do with being left.".

So, we got back to the house after our trick or treating, to find the wife had closed up shop for the night. When munchkin asked her why, the wife relied that we had been inundated with visitors and had cleared all 25 lbs of assorted candy and had no more left.

So munchkin says, with a big smile, "You can use some of mine, if you want."

Munchkin was happy to give up part of her (enormous) stash on a purely voluntary basis. That's called charity. :innocent:

Of course, the fact that she was such a charming cutie that she could barely lift her bucket by the tme she got back to the house might have something to do with it. ;)

We can only hope she will have the same attitude later in life....... on each April 15th.
